Excellent Neurosurgeon
In August 2023 Dr. Christiansen performed an 18-hour craniotomy to remove a large meningioma in the left posterior of my head. In the 2 months before surgery I had 1 phone consultation and 2 in person consultations with him. Dr. Christiansen answered all of my initial and uneducated questions with patience, and as I learned more about my tumor, its location, and areas it was affecting, I wanted more detail he spent the time explaining everything I asked, again with patience. Dr. Christiansen’s surgical approach to removing my specific tumor and his reasoning behind it made the most sense to me and my husband, and we had gotten 4 other neurosurgeons’ opinions. When the surgery date arrived, we were extremely confident in his surgical method and ability. The outcome and my recovery so far has been even better than my husband and I expected. Dr. Christiansen is very thorough, meticulous, and has a lot of stamina! I would choose him again if I had the need - which I hope I don't ;)
