Dr. Valdes did my heart bypass surgery 25 years ago and saved my life. He is a caring doctor who took time to patiently explain the process, the risks involved and to answer all of my questions. I highly recommend him and even though I no longer live in Alaska I would return to have him perform any additional heart surgery if possible.

I was very impressed with Dr. Valdes and his staff. They answered any questions or concerns promptly and I felt that my surgery and recovery were better than I had anticipated. I had my aortic valve replaced in March 2017 and my recovery is already at 100%.

He saved my husbands life, what more is there to say. He was consulted after an angiogram failed to offer any help. He opened up his scheduled and performed surgery on my husband, 5-bypass. He has the best bedside manner and is very thorough in his explanation. He listened to my husband and his knowledge of his procedures is impeccable. If you are lucky enough to get Dr. Valdez as a physician, you will not be disappointed.

My husband was under the care of Dr. Valdes for emergency open heart / Quadruple bypass. Not only did the good doctor save his life but, his bedside manner and obvious concern or my husband were above and beyond any care I have ever witnessed. I can never fully express or thank him for the compassion he and his staff extended to our family. This was a very frightening time for all of us but, Dr Valdes made it as easy as possible on all of us, especially my husband. He has our undying gratitude.
