Excellent Doctor!
I have been a patient of Dr. Sutej since 2017! I have a rare disease, and there are only a few doctors in the country who have hands-on experience with it. Not only does Dr. Sutej have the requisite experience, but he also contributed to a textbook on the subject.I have always found him to be empathetic and engaged. He listens and gives helpful feedback. He has never once tried to tell me how I should feel, nor has he ever suggested that my issues were 'in my head.' I see him every four months for follow-up and blood work. I am also in the office every forty-five days for my infusions. I am delighted to have a physician who understands that while he may have the medical knowledge to help manage my disease, I am the one with the disease. It took me a year to find Dr. Sutej after my Neurologist decided to leave the medical field. I am delighted to be his patient and enjoy my visits to his practice. The front office staff is always courteous.

I saw Dr. Sutej on the recommendation of my cardiologist. Went home and wrote cardiologist a long thank-you note. After seeing 3 different GPs, 2 other rheumatologists, several psychologists and psychiatrists, Dr. Sutej was the first person to LISTEN to my concerns, ASK for consent when doing the touch test, OBSERVE reactions, and to NOT DISMISS ME because I have just entered middle age and am an obese, disabled white woman ("If you lose weight everything will be fine - " was the conclusion of the previous 2 rheumatologists I saw. "You have arthritis and there's nothing we can do.") He has a great sense of humor and understands autistic patients, at least sufficiently to avoid forcing eye contact (which is painful for auties like me). Scheduling was easy, the wait was almost nonexistent, and he was thorough AND read 40 years worth of medical records BEFORE he saw me, so ONLY asked the questions he needed to ask. Thanks to him I now have a care team and a plan. Highly recommend!

After three failed attempts at three other rheumatology practices, I have found a home. Dr. Sutlej and the entire staff at ARG are incredible! I have never witnessed a medical practice that treats their patients with the kindness and consideration that is offered, without fail, at ARG.

Dr Sutej is excellent! He took his time with me and spent almost an hour reviewing and examining me. I did not feel rushed at all. I was surprised at the amount of time he took to make sure he had the 'whole' picture. He listened to me and what I had to say and explained things to me that my other doctors never did. I was very impressed. His staff is fantastic! Very friendly and efficient. I highly recommend Dr. Sutej

GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. Dr. Sutej is my mom's rheumatologist and it has been a terrible experience from the beginning. His staff is completely unorganized and uninformed. My parents live an hour away and wanted to ensure they saw Dr. Sutej for their visits. On my mom's second visit EVER, she was shown to a PA to tell her results of her lupus test. She was also given some lab results that are specifically FOR MEN. She calls the office and leaves messages and often doesn't receive responses.

I received an injection of Prolia for Osteoporosis and experienced an allergic reaction. After about two weeks I finally was able to get an appointment. Dr. Sutez told me he had never seen someone have an allergic reaction and told me to see my Dermatologist. I did my own research and discovered my reaction was listed as the most common. I told them I would not be coming back but six months later they called to schedule another shot, they made NO record in my chart of my allergic reaction.

First, even before I was a patient, the staff worked with me to get my records over and get an appointment fairly quickly. They even called when they had a cancellation. Dr. Sutej has one of the best bedside manner I have ever experienced. I appreciated him not rushing to judgement, and even though he was in and out of the room, he would come back in, continuing right where we had left off. I have faith that he will figure out my issue!

×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. Sutej?
It's been a few years since I've seen Dr. Sutej. However, I feel a need to let people know about my experience. Arrogance and ego are placed before your health issue. It's more important for Dr. Sutej to be "right" about a diagnosis, than to continue to find the cause of a patients illness. No solid responses to patients physical complaints, rather than continued testing for a diagnosis. Haughty attitude. Terrible experience.

This man is a great doctor with the worst secretary staff possible. I had to get a new doctor because they are incapable of returning phone calls. I would not tell anyone to ever see this doctor because of his inability to hire good staff or keep care or his own business. I have been calling and leaving voicemails for over 2 months with no response. WORST DOCTOR EVER.

Dr Sutej and his staff are an arrogant joke. They are slow to respond and quick to make demands of patients. It begins when he asks for lengthy information and all medical records before he will even see you. Then you wait weeks...WEEKS while he determines if you are a good fit. If you're lucky enough to receive a call back, more forms and more waiting are your reward, while suffer in pain. And woe to you if so thing happens in your life and you cancel an appointment. You'll be blackballed.
