Dr. Suh is a matter-of-fact, no non-sense kind of doctor. He sees you on time, speaks in easy to understand terms; answers any questions and listens to your feedback. He is NOT someone that spends time trying to engage a patient on a personal level -- which is fine with me -- that why you have family and friends. But when it comes to treating the patient, he is spot on and genuinely seems to care that his patient is in pain and needs his help.

Since 2009, Dr Suh has operated twice on my spine [back and neck], and both surgeries were completely successful. Dr Suh & OrthoNC staff have always been kind, attentive, and highly competent. I chose Dr Suh in 2009 because he was the only spine surgeon out of five whom I consulted that had physical therapists as an integral part of his practice. They are why I can walk today. The surgeon gives you the opportunity to get your life back. The pt's teach you how to make the most of that opportunity

Recommended by my family physician. I received the best of care and had excellent results from the surgery performed by Dr. Suh. I would definitely recommend OrthoNC and Dr. Suh to my friends and family.

Dr. Suh is honest about what will happen with/without surgery. He doesn't push you to have surgery. I've had two surgeries with Dr. Suh. I'm very pleased with the results. If I ever need another spinal surgery, I hope my insurance will cover, so Dr. Suh can do it.

He understood my concerns and he did not rapidly recommend surgery. He tried different approaches until I felt relief.

Just moved to NC, and when it came time for me to find an orthopedic for my back problem, Dr Suh was AMAZING!! He told us about the surgery and of course sent my husband and I home to speak about a lot!! We knew it would be a long stretch. I have two rods in my back and 16 screws I am 17 weeks out of surgery and am still wearing my brace. Dr. Suh has been so positive and has truly helped my healing process 100%. He fixed me and I just LOVE this man. He is truly the Dr you want in your corner!!

I had c6 - c7 spinal surgery, extraction of my hip and infusion (Titanium plate). The surgery went very well. I had to wear a neck brace for quite a few months and I hated it, tossed it around but reluctantly put it back on. I had to wear it 24 hours except when showering of course but I did sleep in it every night The next morning Dr. Suh's nurse came in to check on me and she Is such a good nurse, kind and professional. Dr. Suh is the BEST!
