Today was a post-op appointment with x-rays to verify the status of a recent revision to the hip. Dr. Vaughn was very thorough in explaining what was done and what can be anticipated going forward. Due to the invasive nature of the surgery, given the prosthesis, there was some unavoidable nerve damage that will likely require 6-7 months to reestablish. That affects the walking some but should rectify within the year.

Explains and listens.
Dr. Vaughn explained what he saw in my MRI and listened to what I told him was bothering me with my hip and leg. He ordered another MRI to rule out back issues. I’m glad that he wants to have all results before deciding what is needed. He was patient and kind and caring. I’m glad I chose him to see today.

Doctor Vaughn is an excellent Doctor. (The Best)

I was very pleased with Dr Vaughn’s services.
Dr Vaughn and his team were very well organized , attentive and managed my care with excellence from the check in to check out. My phone calls were answered in a timely manner. Dr. Vaughn explained my x-rays, telling me about my surgery and how he had replacedThe hip and how the broken pelvis had been moved. His explained what he had done so I could Understand. He suggested that I walk often to regain my strength so that I can be back to walking and playing golf.

Love Dr Vaughn!
Dr. Vaughn is the best. He reviewed my xray with me and explained everything with respect and kindness. Even though he has been practicing medicine for many years, and has a reputation for being the best in NC, he still values relationships and makes sure people feel care and reassurance.

World class knowledge and skills.
Dr. Vaughn and staff are straightforward and professional. X-rays are taken, evaluated, presented and discussed on the spot. Followed by evaluation and treatment. All done in a supportive way with the patient in mind.

Complete satisfaction
From start to finish on both knees within a six year period, the process has been outstanding. The entire staff from the doctor’s office, out patient surgery and physical therapy was highly professional toward my needs and recovery. To get the best, go to the best!

Visit to Dr. Vaughn
Dr. Vaughn was on time and went into detail answering all the questions I had regarding my upcoming surgery. He left the meeting briefly to bring in a scale replica of the knee joint to better illustrate the procedure he would be doing. Excellent and detailed information that left me feeling better educated and confident of my upcoming procedure.
