Knowledgeable and kind
Hard to believe Dr. Mehlhop has any bad reviews. I’ve been going to his office for more than a decade without any issues. Sometimes yes there is a long wait, but this is likely due to the face he is thorough and spends a lot of time with every patient. Never have I felt rushed. I highly recommend!

Would definitely not recommend!
Very poor service-didn't notify me of a test that was positive for Alpha-Gal. I went two more years and was referred to another allergist after complaining that I had already underwent these tests two years prior, he requested my records and looked at my test results from Dr. Melhop's office and told me the diagnosis. I had two years of never knowing when I was going to have another anaphylactic episode due to the lack of communication from Dr Melhop. I actually did have at least 5 anaphylactic attacks within that time frame and that is why I was referred to another allergist. Very disappointed in his actions as a doctor. Would definitely not recommend. I only put 1 star because that was the lowest it would allow.

My son went in for his regular allergy shots and they were using an under the tongue thermometer to check temperatures. This requires pulling off the mask and each person while holding a thermometer their mouth is breathing down all over the wand. Do you not have several back up thermometers if your touchless thermometer breaks? This was seriously very disgusting.
