Dr. Paul Freitas, MD

There is really no rating to leave but it tells you to leave a star so I gave it a 1 but wish to give it a 0. I have been with this office for over 25 years. For the last few years the Doctor cussed me out made me cry because I'm not ready for another drug. The patient isn't being listen too, to thier fears of side effects, I said fears because I am one of those people who can not tolerate alot of meds, have had a few that gave me serious side effects. I hear I have a degree and I know better then you and Dr. Paul used fowl language and cussed me out on several appointments. It's truly sad that a Doctor can get away with treating his patients like this. No patient should be cussed out by any Physician.

Dr. Freitas has been outstanding over the years. His non-professional staff not so much, and they are driving away patients, including me.

I was not listened to. Incorrect symptoms were documented in my 'exam' note, which lead to a specialist misdiagnosing me and giving me a Rx that was for a condition I do not have. Failing to document is bad enough, but documenting the wrong information is dangerous.

I changed my primary care physician to Dr. Freitas from a physician I have been seeing for 20+ years. He is very personable and easy to talk to. He listened to my concerns. Office seems to fun very efficiently. No wait time.

Terrible front office staff. You have to always follow up and that's only if you're on hold for at least 20 minutes. They are extremely rude IF you ever get a hold of them. They all should be fired because the office staff reflects poorly on the doctors. The doctors are great. But I will be moving to a different practice.

7 minutes late for an appointment because I am new to the area and it was the first time I came to this office and I literally called and told them I was having trouble finding the office. When I came in SEVEN minutes late the rude office staff made me reschedule. I will not be back. I guess I should have trusted all the reviews I read about how horrible the office staff are!!!

Receptionists & Front office are terrible. Terribly slow handling referrals and just filing paperwork in general. Absolutely zero communication. You ALWAYS have to call and check in on everything they claim they are doing or it will never get done. They make you feel very unimportant and they couldn't care less about you or the fact your in pain every day. Always trying to end conversations and get off the phone as quick as possible. Very dissatisfied.

I don’t know...I visited the office on 10/2 and someone from the office called two prescriptions in to CVS wrong. This is scary because I am allergic to one of those medicines. Also, I don’t like the fact that my appointment was with a student and Dr. Paul Freitas came in to see me for 2 minutes. Feeling uncomfortable because my last visit was in January and a smiling face is just not enough when you are expecting to speak with a professional; felt more like a guinea pig than a patient.??

Not a long wait in the waiting area, not a long wait in the exam room. Addressed multiple issues to my satisfaction.

Just had my 1st appointment with Dr. Freitas' office. I have a few friends who raved over him but some of the reviews online were low & had complaints about the office staff. From the initial phone call to the end of the visit, the entire staff was courteous and welcoming. Dr Freitas was so down to Earth and easy going. He didn't talk AT me like other doctors; he really was concerned with what I had to say about my health issues. I felt comfortable and will definitely recommend to others!!

I have been going to the Freitas clinic since the beginning of this year. He takes his time to answer any questions and is very straight forward. I recommend Dr. Freitas to anyone needing a primary care doctor.

Dr Paul and his staff are the best. They go out of there way to help their patients. My parents and kids love him and his staff. If your looking for a family doctor Dr Freitas is phenomenal.

I have been seeing Dr. Paul and Lorie for several years, they are the best team to see ! They go the extra mile to take care of their patients, and they have a great team and staff, who quickly expedite testing, referral appts, etc!

This is a wonderful office with a great staff. Dr. Freitas, Lorie, and Eric are excellent in the care they give and always put patients first. From the girls at the front desk to the nurses, Whitney and Chantal, it is truly a family environment. It is easy to get same day appointments and communication among staff and patients is exceptional. I would recommend this office to anyone! The staff in this office make doctor visits a pleasant and inviting experience.

I've seen Dr Paul and he is so down to earth and straight forward. He doesn't mince words and tells it like it is, which is what I need to hear. I usually see his P.A. Eric, and he is amazing as well. The time actually with the providers is usually short and sweet because I don't make it complicated. I make a written list of things I need to discuss and we go through it, I get answers, and I'm done and on my way. His support staff is so professional, courteous, and efficient!! Highly Recommend!!

My family and I have been patients of Dr. Paul Freitas for approximately 3 years. We've always liked Dr. Freitas, and thought him to be very knowledgeable, and we had no formal complaints until recently when his ARNP refused to do so much as an EKG on my step father, who was having cardiac symptoms. Due to my mom stating that if anything happened to my step father, she would take legal action, Eric agreed to do an EKG. Dr. Freitas terminated us as patients and refused to speak to us after.

Dr. Feitas was helpful and great in the beginning. But he dropped me as a patient right after he made a mistake on ordering lab work. I was sent back to have blood drawn for a simple thyroid check twice, costing me money and the lab showed me his mistake. His staff will not let me talk to him nor will he return my calls. The staff personnel claim that I was bad mouthing the doctor to the lab and since I was a cash paying customer the doctor suddenly dropped me as a patient.
