Dr. Paul Co, MD

I have had colonoscopies with several different doctors. I had no problems with intestinal gas after the procedures. However, with Dr. Co, I had gas problems for over 2 days. He was in such a rush to get to his next patient, he did not evacuate excess gas as all my other doctors did. Additionally, I had to wait in the recovery area for more than 40 minutes while he conducted two more procedures before he decided to visit me post-procedure. He declined to answer my questions about the removed polyp. Three months later I still have not received any information on the type of polyp. During the pre-procedure visit, his nurse RNPR tried to get me to agree to additional procedures which my internist had never recommended. Does she get paid extra for additional procedures? Is she on commission? Nothing about this office, its personnel, or this doctor was satisfactory.

Dr. Co listened and asked clarifying questions to make sure he understood what was going on. He seems to really care and wants to find an appropriate solution, tailored to the patient. I didn't feel like a 'number' that was given a pat answer and rushed on my way.

He is direct and listens. He let’s you explain the problem and then looks for solutions. And he won’t give up until he finds you help! He is the best doctor I’ve had in 55 years! I would highly recommend him and his wonderful staff.
