Dr. Victoria Gomez, MD

Dr Gomez is extremely knowledgeable in her field. Especially in pancreas disease. I was referred to her from Gainesville’s top Gastro Drs because he couldn’t handle my case in 2022 That was a scary time for me. Dr Gomez was very reassuring and explained exactly how we would approach my condition on our first zoom call(I was in WV then handling the sale of my house). She calmed my fears and allowed me to relax, knowing I was going to be ok. We followed her treatment plan and I’m here to say I am healthy with no residual pancreatitis two years out. Her bedside manners and compassion helped me through a very difficult time. I felt confident in her abilities to perform my procedures. She is an overall excellent physician. I will be going to her for my routine colonoscopies from here on out.

I had an appointment with Dr. Gomez this morning. She was kind and compassionate - truly amazing! She answered all of my questions in a way that I could understand. I left her office feeling comfortable with her recommendations and feel confident that I will receive the best care possible at the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville. I must add, the staff was top notch as well - from Jasmine at the check in desk, Madison at Vitals, room nurse Betsy, to Caleb and Allison at check out! Everyone was incredible! Thanks to all.

I was at the Mayo Clinic today April 8th for an appt with Dr Gomez she is phenomenal in her field of a gastroenterologist Doctor she took a large polyp off my stomach today I am incredibility impressed with Dr Gomez thank You Dr Gomez my name is Gary Golia The mayor Clinic has the best doctors including my other Doctor Regert Johnson
