Arthroscopic Hip Surgery
Dr. Lynch performed arthroscopic surgery on my hip to remove an inflamed bursa sack that would not heal. Before the surgery was even scheduled, he explained what he would do after looking at my MRI. Then we spoke online a week before the surgery and immediately before I went into the operating room and again an immediate post surgery visit. I never felt rushed he explained everything I needed to know very happy with him. He also has an excellent staff, very courteous, competent, and attentive. I had no problems. I would definitely go back again.

Left hip scope
First of all, Go Cougs! Dr. Lynch listens to you, not dismissive in any way. Makes you feel comfortable and explains everything. I live on the west side of the state and drove over to see him!! If that doesn’t speak volumes, I don’t know what else does. He’s worth it and the best.

Glad I waited to see Dr Lynch!
I live in a medical desert where I do most of my appointments for specialties in Tri-cites an hour away. They referred me to Dr. Lynch. I saw him in Spokane, driving 3 hours one way. Dr Lynch and his staff are nice and are professional. My surgery was smooth and uneventful, and I am so glad to have had it done by Dr. Lynch. When your Orthopedist refers you to a specialist, there’s a reason. Don’t hesitate to have him work on your hip problems. I would go back if I had need of further help. Excellent bedside manner, will telehealth my follow up due to the distance. The OR staff was amazing, friendly and though busy, they took time with me, from MA, to Anesthesiologist. I felt greatly at ease. 5 stars for this practice, the Dr. and the OR!

Dr Lynch and staff: excellent!
I’m a very active 73 year old male, still working part time as an LMT, but recently I had to go on hiatus due to increasingly severe hip pain. MRI showed bone-on-bone arthritis in the R hip. Several of my massage clients had experienced hip replacement surgery with Dr Lynch and all recommended him highly, so I decided to go with his team at NWOS. Best decision I could have made! During the lead up to surgery day, they provided ample and timely information on what I needed do and when. My pre-op sit-down with Dr Lynch was very informative. He showed me, using both physical models and computer simulations, exactly what he was planning to do and why. He prefers the anterior approach which is the least traumatic for surrounding tissues. On surgery day, we felt supported and informed at every step of the way. My wife , a retired orthopedic nurse, was very impressed with how smoothly it all went. I was in the OR at 7:30 am and was heading home, comfortably, by noon. Dr Lynch is the best!

I regret ever going in
I came in to see Dr. Lynch about Hip pain, from an MRI it was determined I had a torn hip labrum. He quoted all these famous studies, said let’s start with an injection. That did nothing.. like an intellect he said I need a debridement (he wrote in my chart before, I’m so far off from ever needing a hip replacement), that would take care of it..I’m a prime candidate and that it working in 85% of the population. Of course, it never helped a bit, probably made it worse. I’ve talked to 3 professionals since and they all said repair the labrum. Then when I bring up I wasn’t told about a bone grind or labrum repair he goes off on all these great people in the readings he’s read and how I’m just an mad at the world because I’m in pain, how now after seeing the joint in the procedure how I need a hip replacement. I’m a pretty positive person, just a long time endurance athlete that would like all my options and the truth. Please don’t do what I did, get a second opinion!

Hip replacement
Dr. Lynch and the whole Nothwest Orthopedics crew were outstanding, professional staff, and very friendly. They treat my wife and I like we family. Because of that I felt comfortable and at ease. This is my second day from the hip replacement and I feel great! This was a outpatient surgery and afterwards my wife and I went out to dinner, as we were starved! This is not my first surgery at Northwest Orthopedics but my fourth. I would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone. Great job Dr. Lynch and the whole crew.

Excellent doctor and staff and clinic! Superb care
I travel 4 hours to this doctor because he is thorough and excellent in every way. Dr. Lynch has treated me for hip and knee injuries and both surgeries have improved my walking plus he gives follow up injections as needed. I am totally happy with the service I get from his entire staff!! Since 2019 I have done all my orthopedic care in this clinic. It's worth a couple of hotel nights as I live across the state. Dr. Lynch is easy to understand and so far his care plans for my multiple issues have improved my health. I especially like how quick they schedule me and how well organized each department is within their clinic. I highly recommend Spokane Northwest Orthopedics especially Dr. Lynch!

Total hip replacement surgery
Dr. Patrick Lynch performed my procedure. He was thorough, kind, compassionate and listened well to my concerns. I had the day, outpatient surgery, going home the same day, I felt confident and well educated on everything I needed to know. Follow up care has also been well planned. The entire NWOP staff, - Preoperative and recovery were kind, social and compassionate. I felt well taken care of.
