Dr. Patricia Buchanan, MD

Dr Buchanan is an excellent doctor, she is very pleasant, thorough, and os very detailed when explaining things. She has been my doctor over 16 years and tops in my book.I would not want another doctor, she is the best!

I've been a patient of Dr. Buchanan for almost 40 years. She has always been a good listener and responded with exceptional health care. She is never in a rush and always takes the time to clearly understand my health concern. She has never hesitated to give me a referral when necessary.

Dr Buchanan has been my physician for over 15 years and I have received exceptional care from her and her clinic. She is very knowledgeable, professional, spends time listening and refers if necessary. I would highly recommend her.

She tired of being a Doctor. Does not care what you might think and at this point is incompetent. Don’t go there. She sucks. Went to this practice for years. She’s also a bully.

I have been seeing Dr. Buchanan for several years. Her office has always had friendly staff and a clean environment. Dr. Buchanan is very knowledgeable and does not rush through the appointment. Reviews treatments and lets YOU choose the course you want to take.

She was interested and listened to me. She was so encouraging and helpful. I am delighted to have her as my physician. I know that my health matters to her.

Dr. Buchanan was very cold and seemed uninterested in my symptoms. She actually told me that I would just have to deal with my issues. After a second opinion, it turns out that I have an issue treatable with surgery. Had she cared enough to listen to me and put some effort into diagnosing me, I wouldn't have had to suffer longer. She seeems to me to assume you are exaggerating your symptoms and has no desire to actually treat you. I wouldn't take my dogs in to see her.

I've been a patient of Dr Buchanan for 29 yrs she and her staff have been amazing. She listens and has always been compassionate towards my concerns/issues she even listens to my husbands concerns about me. She has taken amazing care of me and my family, I reccomend Dr Buchanan to my friends and family. I'm not looking forward to the day she decides to retire it will be hard to find another Dr like her, thank you Dr Buchanan for taking such awesome care of me over the years.

She was very very rude to me from the second I walked in the room. Then she said I was lying about all my symptom and wasting her time. That's not how you should treat anyone. I went in and left with my ear infection and she did nothing but be completely rude which was uncalled for. Then went to urgent care where I was treated with a lot more respect. Buchanan is a cold hearted and doesn't care about anything but herself. I'd rather suffer to death then see her again.

After being a patient of hers for nearly 10 years, I have had to leave her practice. I'm sorry to have to say it, but I really don't think she is fit to practice medicine any longer. Her assistant, Carol, is fabulous, and so I think that is why I remained a customer patient of Patricia's for as long as I did. Refills were timely, but I think that has more to do with the support staff at the clinic. But when I started having some serious health problems, she ignored me and did NOTHING to help.

Bed side manner was something less than desirable. I have been a patient for years and choose to see other providers at the clinic (PA-C's are outstanding). She introduced herself like she has never seen me before after being a patient of hers for over 15 years. I feel like she does not listen and very disappointed with how she treated me. She did not even read over my chart with me and just made a split decision. Would NOT recommend to anyone.
