Dr. Pamela Apolaya, MD

This is one of the worse doctors I ever encountered. I have no idea how she works as MD. Has very poor medical knowledge. Doesn’t know how to diagnose or misdiagnose. Gives dangerous advices. Ignores emails. You have to dig through your blood work yourself to figure out what is wrong because “dr” Apopaya won’t have any idea or will start googling everything. Just stay away.

Dr. Apolaya doesn't remember conversations previously had in person, over the phone, and claimed she read e-mails, yet was misinformed and clueless about the context. She hardly ever e-mailed back personally and has others do it for her. She doesn't listen, gaslights, and misremembers--dangerous and poor qualities of a healthcare provider. She gave an incorrect statement about my medication over email. When I saw her in person weeks later, she had to google its side effects; thus confirming my initial claim of a side effect that had been affecting me since I was prescribed it in 2016--embarrassing. If you want an attentive doctor, don't choose Dr. Apolaya.

Most wonderful doctor I have had the pleasure of meeting. I wish all doctors were more like her.
