Dr Dasari became my PCP recently thru my prior Dr. moving out of the area. I tested positive today for Covid and called to speak to the Dr on call for the w/e to find out what I should do. The on call Dr. basically told me to sit tight and call the office Monday morning. Dr. Dasari isn't on call this w/e and she and I have yet to meet. However, she saw a message from the on call Dr., checked my chart and called me this afternoon. After speaking to me for 20 minutes and asking me in depth how I felt, she decided that because I tested positive and have a lung condition she didn't want to wait until Monday. She called in 2 prescriptions for me to start today and has made arrangements for me to get a chest x-ray tomorrow. I am just amazed that my new Dr., who's never met me, on the weekend, who wasn't even on call, took the time to check her messages, look over my chart and really made me feel so well taken care of by a true professional with a good heart. Thank you!
