Dr. Orlando Matias, DO

Hard to know. I contacted the office about becoming a new patient and indicated I had some specific questions I needed answered before changing a 50 yr relationship with my current practice. I was told to fill out some form with my demographic and insurance info and the dr. would decide if he was interested in taking me on. I said I was more interested in whether I wanted to take HIM on as my dr., and could I simply schedule a telehealth visit? I was told that was not possible and this was the process and that if I was interested, they were booking 2 months out. Don't know if I'm interested since I couldn't get my questions answered.

Was a great doctor had been going there since 2003 only to find that when I'm sick as a dog during this pandemic that I have been dropped from the office with no notice. The receptionist stated that after 4 years they will automatically drop you if you don't have any visits. That's fine but how about you all tell people when this happens. I'm rarely sick and when I am it's sucks to call you primary care physician to find out you have been dropped with Jon notice and now have to find a new ones my whole family goes here it would have been nice if someone would have told us this policy it at least let one of my family members he sees often that I needed to come in. I'm so annoyed by this, it takes 2 seconds to call or email someone like 2 seconds. This had been my doctor since I was a teen now this .

Dr Matias is a very knowledgeable and concerned doctor. He is good with diagnoses, and treatments. Overall, highly recommended.

Nothing bad to say. Understanding, concerned, carring and wants to help you be healthy. I am proud he is my Doctor.

Dr Matias& staff have been taking care of my dad for many years&I my dad is 90 yrs old an still going strong! Very happy with level of care he an staff have given..Special thanks to Terry for help with scheduling my dads appointments. Sabrina

Very knowledgeable, professional provider, well-read and up to date on current medical issues, trends and treatment options. Attentive, concerned listener. Friendly, kind, courteous, uplifting and relaxed disposition and demeanor. As his patient I've always felt accepted, fully understood and very much at ease during the appointment.
