Rude, inconsiderate, disrespectful
I knew she was rude and disrespectful when after 4 messages she never returned my phone calls. Apparently one can only speak to this oh-so-important doctor by an in person appointment, which I made. I arrived early and asked if she was running on time. I was told she was. After waiting 25 minutes they said she was just finishing up with a patient and it would be 10 more minutes. Twenty minutes later I was told it would just be another five minutes. After waiting more than an hour I was told it would be (maybe) another ten minutes. What was totally infuriating is that if the staff had been upfront at the beginning and said they could not say how long it the wait would be, I could have alerted my next appointment. The rude staff member (I think her name is Tommi) continually interrupted me when I asked questions. Another patient I spoke with had a similar situation with this arrogant office. Clearly the disrespect for patients runs through the entire operation here. Avoid, avoid

Dr Leonardi has been my doctor for about 15 years or more. She is brilliant! She found the reason and the treatment for an issue that I had been experiencing for about 2 years. I'd been to about 6 different specialists and nobody could help me. I decided to see Dr. Leonardi, who had been treating me for a thyroid problem for many years. Dr. Leonardi said she had an idea, took a blood sample and sure enough she was 100% right. She started me on some meds and I remain symptom-free for years. She spends a lot of time, answers all my questions, is highly professional and friendly. I always feel confident that I'm getting the best treatment and advice. She's great.

I've been with Dr. Leonardi for 5 years now. She is always so helpful and takes time to talk me through everything and explain exactly what's going on with my thyroid. I live in Queens, but travel to her office downtown because I feel she's the best in the city!
