Office visist
Rushed, also her office staff does not take responsibility for errors. 7 people were brought in to see Dr. Hanson or one of the others at the same time. Northwestern Medicine is riding on it's reputation and the marketing that Mr. Harrison puts much money into. Docs in private practice are not time limited as those in northwestern medicine are.

I went to NM thinking I was getting the best care. Biggest mistake!! I am triple positive with cancer in both breasts which is unusual. I saw her and was not impressed. When I asked to see the other doctors at NM I was told that if I saw another surgeon for a second opinion I would be kicked out of her care and never let back in. I was scared.. When they told me I had to have surgery I was crying. She said to me "why are you crying"... Thats how hardened she is.. She has no clue what its like to be her patient. She has no empathy. When I asked her if nurses were allowed to bring cell phones in her Or room she said yes... As long as they dont put them on the machines... That is messed up.. IN a time were we must all wear masks nurses/techs can bring dirty phones in her OR...Not to mention my results are so deforming.. And I never saw her or heard from her again after the surgery.. Does she care.. Ha. NO WAY!!!!

Dr. Hansen took barely 5 minutes to talk to me. The medical student did all the work and she just walked in and grunted a few words. I felt rushed. She had many patients waiting for her with several of us scheduled for the same time. I got the sense that she is the kind of Dr. that tries to see many patients to increase profit without actually taking the time to listen.

After a mammogram showed a growth in my left breast I met with Dr Hansen. She was very clear about the risk of cancer and suggested a biopsy, which showed atypica cells. We discussed and decided to remove the affected area. I have a perfect scar which hardly shows and had follows up for the last 2 years. I trust Dr Hansen and am happy that I see her to maintain my breast health.
