Dr. Patten has been one of the best physicians I have ever interacted with. She took her time to explain my condition and my options in detailed and with a tremendous patience. Most of the time the doctor has their care team follow up with you. She put her personal time into my treatment. Dr. Patten is excellent. I had an unusual lesion that other docs could not explain. She explained what it was and exact why it needed care. Her technical expertise was outstanding. Even better was her kind, genuine compassion. Cannot say enough WONDERFUL things about this provider.

Dr. Patten is a rising rock star! She treats hundreds of cases of breast cancer a year, but I felt like I was her only patient. She provided a thorough and detailed analysis of my pathology and its implications for my treatment, patiently answering my questions. She provided very clear explanations, without dumbing them down, and encouraged me to be a partner in the process. She is incredibly thorough and detail oriented and very, very caring. After having initially dealt with an oncological surgeon in another system with whom I had a very different experience, I feel in a unique position to appreciate Dr. Patten's skill, expertise and bed-side manner.

I have a history of breast cancer 21 years ago. I was recently seen by Dr. Patten for biopsy of a suspicious area on my routine mammorgram. I was very difficult biopsy due to the location of the area, and Dr. Patten was great about getting the radiologists to work with her to make a difficult procedure happen smoothly. Her communication with myself and her team was outstanding. And, I had a good outcome!
