Dr. Noel Goldthwaite, MD

I've put my trust in Dr.Goldthwaite for many years. I have degenerative disc disease, and was first referred to him following a failed spine surgery. He diagnosed and repaired the damage, stopping the severe and debilitating pain. I've needed subsequent disc laminectomies and spinal fusion, scoliosis correction - and thankful that Dr.Goldthwaite was current on advanced surgical procedures to keep me pain-free and walking. He's the best spinal surgeon on the west coast and many patients travel from other states to see him.

This doctor is the GREATEST orthopedic doctor on earth!! He is so kind and keeps you upbeat on your recovery. He is so caring and explain things that you can expect before and after the surgery. I have never had a bad experience when he has done several surgeries on me. I just wish all surgeons were like him. I actually love seeing him cause I know he will be straightforward with me and not beat around the bush- good or bad.

Most caring and compassionate physician ! He performed my cervical spine surgery successfully in 1996 - got out of excruciating pain ! Thank you Dr !

Dr Goldthwaite has been both a life saver and a life giver. I recomend him to anyone with spinal problems. He is the best. He treats the patient first not just the injury. He is thorough when making a diagnosis and looks at all problems from all sides. He has the ability to think out of the box and shows real compassion. He truely cares about his patients. I’ve been seeing Dr G since the end of 2007 ... he is AMAZING!!! If it weren’t for him, I’d be stuck on a couch somewhere doing absolutely nothing. He has been nothing short of a Godsend for me - giving me my active lifestyle back. I am so incredibly happy to be “me again” ... it’s been a long road to get here but that’s because of it being a work comp case. Dr. Goldthwaite is a good straight speaking informative Doctor. Even when the prognosis is upsetting. I would use him today. Because of his suggested plan of action in my case. I have been Surgery free for Seventeen years, and that is not the norm. I do my part, stay active, watch my weight and Exercise as suggested and live a full life again.
