Dr. Naveen Kumar, MD

Dr. Kumar is a godsend. He has been extremely kind to me and my family. He is thorough and has been able to make a diagnosis when several hospitals failed me. He is loved by all his patients and green valley community.

Dr Kumar is very caring about my health. His dedication to save my life through a very thorough diagnosis of my symptoms is admirable. I felt like a member of his family. His team members are also very conscientious.

I have been a patient of Dr Kumar for going on 2 years. At first, I was very pleased with his approach, knowledge, and willingness to spend the necessary time during appointments to do a proper job of assessment. During my last visit however, I had 2 things to discuss with him. Only one requiring a very short exam. I was shamed by him at the end of the appointment for taking too much of his time. Heaven forbid I have a Medical Problem which requires him to actually Practice Medicine hands on! And then to Shame Me in front of his student for taking too much of his time! This is an abhorrent way to treat a patient. He is taking on too many patients and cannot keep up with running a quality practice. As an RN of many years myself, I know of what I speak. This is below the proper Standard of Care for Healthcare in any area. I am very disappointed to see him doing this as he is a very fine doctor skill wise, but will start missing things rushing himself this much.

I have been patient for Dr. Kumar‘s for over six years. I’ve always thought that he was courteous funny well-informed and a good physician. Lately it appears that he has more patients than he can care for. I’m now waiting for 7 to 10 days to get an appt. Example I broke my wrist I called him the day that I broke his office staff told me to go to urgent care, I did that had x-rays I called him in two days to come in he wanted more x-rays. I got the x-rays immediately the next day tried to make an appointment could not until they receive the x-rays. Finally made an appointment for seven days out with him this morning and they told me that I didn’t have an appointment today. It’s now been four weeks since I broke my wrist and I still don’t know if I need to see an orthopedic surgery. I ask for a call from Dr Kumar 12 hours later no call. I am looking for a Doctor that is not chasing the buck but cares for his patients.

I was very pleased with my first visit with Dr Kumar. He had my health history on his laptop and we went through the significant points. I felt he wanted to know me and also let me know what kind of physician he is.

THIS GUY IS THE BEST DOCTOR EVER HE CARES FOR HIS PATIENTS WITH BEST OF CARE LISTENS TO YOUR EVERY WORD.

Absolutely the best doctor in the area. Listens, cares, spends time with his patients, and finds what the problem is. We are so lucky to have him in this area whether or not he is a network provider for many insurance companies or not. There is always out of network.

Dr. Kumar is experienced and resolved my sinus problems, but his manager, Jackie told us they would accept Medicare as full payment, then six weeks later billed me $1700. She stated they didn't know the exact cost before surgery and that I now owe the amount billed. Very deceptive practice. Will not use the practice again.

Dr Kumar is kind, compassionate and caring. Highly recommend Arizona Medicos. Simply the best in the area.

Dr. Kumar is very caring. He did not stop looking for solutions when tests could not find the problem. He did not stop until the solution was found. He conferred with specialists with me present to go over the results of tests. He keep me in the loop. He treated me as a person. I highly recommend him.

Apparently only accepts Blue Cross Blue Shield if based in Arizona. We are snowbirds from Washington State, with Blue Cross Blue Shield Washington. Can't schedule if they're not a PPO.

This Doctor is fantastic! After 3 weeks of extreme pain in legs and lower back, he resolved my problems in my las visit and I am now pretty much pain free. Thank you Dr. Kumar??.

I never actually got an appt. When I called they told me that they only accept BCBS insurance if you are under 65. Just thought I'd let people know since there are so many other insurances listed on here as being accepted. If you are over 65 than I'm sure you're fine, but under you will need BCBS apparently.

Dr. Kumar's office booked my appt with just a day's notice. I was exceptionally thankful as I had a planned vacation in 48 hrs. and was experiencing much pain due to a sebaceous cyst on my back. In his usual accommodating manner, incredible kindness, professionalism, and five star bedside manner, Dr. Kumar excised the cyst with all due haste and perfection, explaining in detail the problem, the procedure, and after care. Bravisimo to this gentle, competent, and caring physician.

I am a fairly new patient and on each of the 3 visits he has given me plenty of time to discuss any medical concerns. Dr. Kumar is very outgoing and personable and has a willingness to listen to your medical issues.

Caring, kind. Very thorough. Would not go anywhere else. Will see you if you have urgent needs. Will get you in as other Drs offices would not make the effort. Staff is very nice.
