Dr. Hess is the best!
Dr. Hess is absolutely the best doctor in the Bristol area. He listens to his patients and actually cares about them. He will try his best to diagnose and treat you. He spends as much time as needed to make sure you understand what is going on. He reminds me of the greatest surgeon Bristol has ever had. I hope and pray Dr. Hess doesn't leave the area like the surgeon did.

Dr. Jared Hess is the best dr I have EVER been to. He actually listens to the ailments, and problems. Then he talks to the patient. He finds solutions to fix your problems. He has given me some excellent advice in the past..I trust him completely.

DR Hess, has been my Dr for awhile , however I took my elderly mother to him he was so kind to her , he gave her time to answer his questions. I like the care she received from him. In just one office visit he checked her for things that she hadn't had done in years . I am so thankful that he is my mother's Dr. DR Hess is the best DR there is .

Absolutely trust DR Hess, with my health he does every test possible to find out what your problem is ,and he fixes it . He is the most knowledgeable DR there is ! DR Hess is the most compassionate DR ,and he listens to you . If they were giving out DR of the year awards as far I am concerned that award would go to DR Hess. Because he is the best DR that there is .

Arrogant & knows it all. I went to a COMPETENT provider in Abingdon after being increasingly sick for more than a month & was diagnosed with metastatic lung cancer. Hess ordered a home pulse oximetry test and never bothered to share the results with me. When I asked why he didn’t, he said it was up to me to call him, UNLIKE EVERY OTHER TEST RESULT when I received emails with results. I have cystic fibrosis & and asked for Pulmicort. He refused to prescribe it. RUN, don’t walk, away from him!

He did not address any of my concerns. He is far from compassionate. Asked me about traumatic experiences and made me relive them and offered me no help or insight. Seemed to not care at all about my health problems. I felt like he really just blew me off. He marked me as high risk medication misuse and drug tested me. I have never done drugs in my life and of course it came back clean. He is very inexperienced and unfamiliar with medications and my disorders. I wouldn’t recommend this doctor to

After seeing my doctor for 15 years, I learned he was retiring and I had to find a new doctor. The first doctor that I scheduled an appointment with was Dr. Hess, and I am lucky that I found him on the first try. He has never seemed to be in a hurry and apologizes if he is late. He has helped me figure out some problems that were not able to be diagnosed in the past.

He has been my doctor now for several years. As a senior citizen I so much appreciate the time he takes with me in explaining things related to my health. He has never failed to get back in touch with me if I need him for an appointment or just to answer a health related question or concern I have. He is a very sweet young man and is dedicated to his patients and has an excellent bedside manner. He is from the Southwest Virginia. I would highly recommend him to any of my family or friends.

While a half way intelligent doctor, he is rude, does not listen to his patients and he often places you on the newest, most expensive medications and will continue to do so even when they've been proven ineffective. I would not recommend him to anyone dealing with anything more severe than a cold.
