Almost killed me
I was seeing dr ciavarri as my primary care physician at oak orchard for 5 1/2 years. I kept complaining of abdominal pains and trouble with bowel movements. I said I feel like there’s a blockage. I asked for a colonoscopy. She sent me to a general surgeon about hemorrhoids instead of listening to me. Made me feel like I was going crazy. I wasn’t sleeping more than for hours a night because of the pain. I told her all this. That was in 2020. She left the practice a year later, and Oak Oachard didn’t even have a doctor to assign to me and had a nurse practitioner seeing me. I left the practice and got a new doctor. A new doctor that listened to me right away and sent me to a G.I. specialist. Well last week they just took 13 polyps out of my colon. Dr ciavarri could have killed me with her negligence, luckily all benign. Dr ciavarri is what’s wrong with healthcare and so is oak orchard

Front-end staff are some of the worst in the business. They talk down on you and do not communicate essential information. Prescription refills ALWAYS take 72 hours or more. The doctor does not do her research about new/emerging medicine and has a poor understanding of medical contraindications. I highly recommend doing your own research after visiting this place and being prescribed something.

I have been going to Dr Ciavarri since she started practicing at Albion Oak Orchard. I have multiple medical problems from back issues to thyroid plus! She is an awesome Dr. We work together on my needs and as stubborn as I am with medications we always come to an agreement! Yes sometimes I wait past my appointment time for her, but it is so much worth it. She is kind and considerate and is not one of the many drs who have one hand on the door knob rushing out! She listens and is very compassionate! I have moved around from Albion area several times and as far as Honeoye Falls but I still travel back to her! She is amazing and if anyone says differently then there is a problem with you! She has treated my whole family and I would be lost without her! Thank you Dr Ciavarri for always being there for me!

SHE WOULD NOT REFILL MY 78-YEAR-OLD MOTHER HER PAIN MEDS. SHE NEEDS A KNEE REPLACEMENT AND A LOT OF ARTHRITIS. I CALLED A NUMBER OF DIFFERENT TIMES IN 3 WEEKS. WOULD NOT CALL ME WOULD NOT ASK TO SEE HER IF SHE HAS ANY PROBLEMS. SHE JUST TOTALLY NEGLECTED. Her. SHE IS VERY VERY CRUEL.

The reason the wait time is long sometimes is that Dr. Ciavarri spends as much time as needed with each patient (vs. the amount of time Medicare, HMOs, etc., allow and pay for). As a result, she gets behind. I don’t mind waiting, because there is a good reason for it, and sometimes I’m the one needing extra time. I always take a book, just in case.
