Dr. Nancy Burt, MD

Very inconsiderate and lack of compassion for the patient. She made me feel so uncomfortable and didn’t show concern of my well being. She mentioned I suffer from migraines when originally I was going in for an explanation of my MRI, which there was a founding of a mass. She further explained that she’s diagnosed me with migraines. The whole time she was rude like if she didn’t want to assist me. She realized that I was not comfortable and she even asked me if I would like to talk to the office manager about services and I said yes. I ended up leaving and I looked for another dr at a different facility and I’m glad I did. The new dr shows empathy and is now helping me. I had big expectations with this facility but unfortunately it was the worst experience. I looked up Dr Burt complaints and all are the same experience I had. Not sure why she is still practicing, unless it’s about my skin color? Which is sad

Dr Burt is a great Neurologist who takes her time and does a full evaluation every appointment. She answers all of my and my wife’s questions and concerns about my condition. She also reassures that any other questions that come up can be answered via email or phone at a later time.

Dr. Burt is cold. She doesn’t seem to remember what she has done in the past. I am tired of rating her. Please remove me as a patient.

I have been suffering for years with severe migraines. The Veterans Affairs Clinic scheduled me an appointment with Dr. Burt on Aug. 15, 2024 for what I thought would be a migraine treatment for my migraines. I drove a total of 460 mile round trip for this appointment and she told me that this visit was just my initial visit and that she had to order the medication injections from the VA. Today is Oct. 13th, 2024 and I have still yet to hear from this doctor or this clinic. She made me feel as though I didn’t matter to her as a human being. I explain to her that we didn’t have to reinvent the wheel because all she had to do was look at my medical file and she could see that I have been getting migraine injections treatments for over 14 years. Her recommendation was that we start from the beginning to find out why I have been suffering from my migraines. I had explained to her that a previous specialist had diagnose me with mild Traumatic Brain Injury from an explosion back in Iraq.

I love when I go and visit Dr. Bart. It doesn’t even take 15 minutes to go into the room. I would always follow her wherever she would be. She’s been a good doctor and she has treated my migraine headaches.

Nancy Burt was a pleasure to work with and I appreciated her BUT YOUR STAFF IS A NIGHTMARE. The Gestapo like maze necessary to get in to see your physicians is a misery so much so that I have chosen to take my body elsewhere. We may be numbers and dollars to your management company but I am a human being and deserve way better.

She is very knowledgeable but she didn’t go over why she picked specific medication. I understand that she is busy but it frustrating. She didn’t answer any of my questions. She felt rushed and annoyed that I was there.

She always takes time with her patients and really cares about them. She goes out of her way to make sure their concerns are addressed and never made to feel insignificant.
