Grateful for Dr. Bhandari
I've been a patient of Dr. Bhandari since May 2024. I was diagnosed with a rare disease (idiopathic intracranial hypertension), as well as obstructive sleep apnea. Right away, he started treating me for IIH, and we went through medication treatment to help with the excess cerebrospinal fluid build-up, so was placed on acetazolamide for the IIH and divalproex control my headaches due to the IIH. I have needed my medication adjusted, but my IIH is now somewhat under control. He's referred me out to Rehab without Walls for physical therapy to help with my balance issues. I have been fortunate to have been seen regularly by Dr. Bhandari himself, only a few times have I been seen the physician assistant. His bedside manner is great. He listens to my concerns and gives his recommendations and provides a lot information on what could help with my condition. His staff is great. I'm happy overall with his practice at Nidraveda.

Wouldn't recommend
Dr. Bhandari is great, but it doesn't really matter since he only sees patients for their initial visit and then never again. You will see a different PA during every appointment and spend most of the time reminding them who you are. To recap my last 2 appointments, the PA had no idea who I was and started reading someone else's progress notes to me and then the next one shows up late and rushed me. She told me to pick one concern to talk about and pay a 2nd copay to come in and discuss the other concern. She started me on a new med but I had to Google the side effects bc she didn't have time. Most recently, his office staff told me to abruptly stop taking a medication that needs to be tapered and go to the Emergency Room if something happens rather than asking how to taper it for me. It is sad that the office is being ran like this and honestly, I don't know if he has any idea. Based on all of the reviews that sound like mine, he really has no excuse and needs to make some changes!

If you can see any other doctor for your issue, I would advise avoiding this place. It’s more than them not answering the phone. 6 out of 7 appointments I’ve had with them, there has been an issue. The office staff has huge turn over. The NPs also turned over three times in the year I’ve been going here. Basically every 2-3 months it feels like everyone is replaced. In my opinion they’re lacking any leadership. Which, if the doctor is running the office he really needs to hire a professional to run the operational side of things. Apt 1-Was not informed when scheduling that an in-office EEG and subsequent take-home 3 day EEG would be conducted. Therefore I wasn’t prepared and had to come back the next day. Also, discussed with the Doctor that we’d try other interventions before medication. Apt 2-They scheduled this before my EEG results were in. So we didn’t have anything to discuss. Wasted appointment #01. Apt 3-Met with NP who informed me I needed to be on medication. 180 degree turn from what the doctor and I discussed. She could not answer my questions and kept having to walk out to ask the doctor and come back. Wasted appointment #02 Apt 4-Had to explicitly ask to see doctor. Also asked to not see previous NP but they messed up and she came in anyway. They apologized on the day. The doctor then suggested I needed to be on medication, which again, was the exact opposite of what he had said before. Apt 5-ok, the new NP, Lori Grant is the only one I’ve felt knew what they were doing. Apt 6-went in for another in-office EEG and was told the doctor would look at the results and then determine if I needed the 3 day overnight. Upon arrival I was charged for the 3 day which leads me to believe that’s procedure. I highly doubt the doctor looked at the in-office and made any determination. That’s fine. But why position it as a possibility when it’s definitive. Apt 7-new year and new insurance. I had to be rescheduled bc the benefits coordinator wasn’t in office. Was also told it was my responsibility to inform them. This has happened at other offices and has NEVER been a problem before. Why was this not asked about when my appointment was confirmed? Why was this not asked about when I had to check-in online the day before? One positives: they stopped trying to upsell additional procedures bc they churned through their NPs so quickly.

CP
the staff is the absolute worst. Rude and lots of 4 letters words. Dr only sees you on initial visit and then staff takes over. Dr is fine but again the staff is the worst and rude. I was trying to substitute this new insurance for my old one. today. This not this first time I had rude and horrible treatment by office staff. At least three times this has happened before today. I could not see the NP until insurance was coordinated. was willing to pay out of pocket to be seen but they would not allow it since I had insurance. Additionally the rude staff stated they sent a 3 month supply of his seizure medicine and said it was Pharmacy error.I immediately went back to Pharmacy and the Pharmacist remembered me and the Dr office called just as I go there trying to cover up their error. This docorors office is only a machine and does not care at all about patients

Stay away
I saw this doctor because I use a bi-pap machine and needed to get a new one. Even though I've used it for years and have all the data from the machine I was told the data is "too old" and I needed to rent an at home kit from him for 3 days to do a new study during which i could not use my machine. I told them I cannot sleep at all without it and I'd prefer to do the study at a center where my sleep would be monitored. They declined because they don't make money that way. They actually said that. They also spent most of my appointment trying to sell me green laser treatments for weight loss. A nurse tried to tell me that I also have insomnia, despite me repeatedly telling i don't. Bottom line is this place wants to treat you in the way that makes them the most money, not the way that is best for you. Not only do I not recommend him, I don't think he should even be practicing medicine at all.

Unresponsive Office Staff
The office staff has been contacted on numerous occasions by both staff from Texas Home Medical (THM) and myself about my need for a new CPAP machine. After two months of faxes from THM, and phone calls and a personal visit from myself the problem simply requiring a doctor's signature has not been resolved! No reflection on Dr. Bhandari himself or his MEDICAL Staff! But, administration seems to be subpar at best!

The only time I saw Dr H. Bhandari was at the 1st appointment and after that mythe rest of my aapointment were with NP. I won't go back. My Appointment was at 2:00 pm ,I didn't get called til 3:30pm.in my opinion it's an insult to keep a patient that long as a result I asked for my patient records and good luck to all his patients.

I have been with nidraveda for over a year, and up until recently have been happy with my care. Recently my provider was put on maternity leave, completely reasonable, I am all for maternity leave. However my provider's online inbox was not being monitored while she was away, and it should have been. I called the office for an appointment because my messages were not being answered. I was given a new provider which provider completely changed my treatment plan that had been working for over a year. I expressed my concern and doubts and said I wished to continue what my original provider had outlined. I was denied, and given a different medication. I received a medication sample in office, and immediately knew that this provider did not have my health in mind. When providers give sample medications in office and then prescribe them, they receive an incentive. This provider only wished to change my treatment plan so they could get the incentive. After taking the sample medication and fin

Stay clear of this place. Very disorganized. They shredded MRI reports that were very important and then asked me to replace them. They drug their feet for days when I needed important testing and then wouldn't return phone calls for days. When I called the office manager to report my concern, he wasn't even competent enough to call me back when he said he would.

Exceptional staff!!!! From the front office to the doctors!!!! I was listened to, felt validated and feel hopeful for the first time in over 20 years with living with debilitating pain. I have a treatment plan and was explained my condition in terms I could easily understand. I HIGHLY recommend anyone struggling with pain or sleep issues to reach out and contact Dr. Bandari’s office!!!!! Everyone I encountered was so kind, compassionate and caring. Today restored my faith in a field where many lose their their way. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

I’ve had a sleeping disorder for more than 20 years. My body doesn’t know when to go to sleep. I would grow a tolerance toward medications. I was taking 8 to 12 medications daily to sleep. My first visit with Dr. Bhandari and he made 1 change to my medications and I’ve slept like I’ve never slept before. I have a long road ahead of me to make changes to all medications I take but I thank the Almighty God that He has given Dr. Bhandari the knowledge to help me with my chronic problem. Dr. Bhandari has saved my life. I hope he can help me do away with all my medications and prescribe medications to help me continue getting restful sleep.

I have been going to Dr. Bhandari for over a year now. I have NEVER seen him less than an hour past my appointment. The office staff is not well informed and have discharged me by mistake, leading to longer wait times. It is hard to get in touch the front office and they rarely return phone calls.
