Dr. Nancy Behram, MD

Lied to me! I didn't find out until 36 that she does not deliver babies anymore....Went to the hospital and only then was told she doesn't have privileges there anymore...neither does her husband OB who is in practice with her. What a scam.... when was she going to tell me???? Had to be delivered by a very good competent doc but didn't meet her until I was in labor!

Dr. Behram was my doctor throughout my entire pregnancy. When I was 34 weeks I developed preeclampsia and rushed to the hospital only to find out she no longer had privileges there. In fact she didn’t have privileges for months. I had to find someone else to deliver my baby. Can you imagine how that feels when the doctor/person you trusted for months will no longer be with you to help you through delivery?!? I hope this review helps other Moms choose a different OB so they never have to be in my position.

If you want an OB that is going to deliver your baby, DO NOT GO HERE!!!! We showed up to Shady Grove Hospital to find out that The Behram's privlages to perform any medical procedures have been revoked and have been for a while. Hospital staff couldn't tell us why but was rolling their eyes when they found out that we didn't have a clue. Make sure you ask questions because I wish we did.

Please do not trust that she is a specialist of breast cancer! I am shocked to see that as the first item in her list of expertise. I have been complaining to her for 3.5 years about major changes in my nipple she dismissed every time as related to pregnancy and breastfeeding. When I finally got too worried and went to see another doctor, I was immediately diagnosed with a cancer that has probably been growing for years (it covers 6cm of my breast) and I am awaiting surgery to find out see the extent of damage. In addition to this, she and her office were horrible the last months of my pregnancy, forgetting to talk to me about my vaccines, not responding to phone or portal messages, ordering an expensive CT scan and never communicating the results… the list goes on. Bottom line: we are lucky in the DC area to have many choices, don’t chose her or her office and have a horrible experience at best, or an extensive cancer that could have been caught much earlier at worst…

Dr. Nancy Behram has been my OBGYN for over 15 years. She personable, knowledgeable, and patient. She takes time to listen to my concerns and is responsive to my health care needs. She is now located at Congressional OBGYN, 15005 Shady Grove Rd. Suite 130, Rockville, MD 20850 301-294-8525

I had a wonderful experience with this doctor. She delivered my third baby and really listened to my concerns and wishes related to the delivery. I felt very safe with her. Sad to hear that she left the practice.

Dr. Behram is great! I've been going to her for about 5 years. She makes getting an annual exam as quick and painless as possible, but she never makes me feel rushed. She listens attentively to all my questions and provides thoughtful, complete answers. I highly recommend her.
