Dr. Myron Kwong, MD

Dr. Kwong was assigned to my husband as his oncologist. Dr. Kwong does not communicate with patients, my husband called his office and he was told to send a message to which he never responded. He was very dismissive of our questions and it seemed like his only answer was 'no' and 'nothing', we got extremely frustrated with his lack of communication and bedside manner that we put in the request for another Oncologist. This is not the type of care you expect from Oncology, very disappointed. He should not be interacting with patients.

I no longer have trust, confidence, or belief in his ability to be a good doctor. He provided inconsistent treatment recommendations and when questioned on his advise, he changed his recommendation. He appeared to be more concerned about Kaiser's financial costs than patient treatment. He failed to recognized his unprofessionalism and knowledge to treat my wife. I feel that he is just another unskilled Kaiser physician in a system of many. I would not recommend him to anyone.

Dr Kwong is a high integrity person. He listens and spends as much time as necessary to fully understand concerns. He keeps on top of current opportunities and studies and is open to discussing potential options. We felt in very good hands.
