Dr. Mustafa Hussain, MD

I had a telehealth appointment that started on time, being on time was the only plus. The doctor himself barely looked at me during the whole 10 minute visit. He was obviously rushed and distracted and had me repeat my name, medical conditions, medications, and dosages twice as he typed them in despite the fact that this info should have already been in front of him with the paperwork I had previously filled out. It was obvious that he had not so much as viewed my chart. He then lowered the dosage on a medication I have been on for over 20 years, when I asked why he said “they” didn’t like him to prescribe the dose I had. When I asked who “they” were he waved his hand and said “just try it” and changed the subject to where I wanted my medication filled. I told him and he still managed to send it to the wrong pharmacy! This is not the way a good psychiatrist acts on a first visit with a new patient. He did not ask any questions about my mental health, it was a terrible experience.

Have waited 2-3 hours for a 10 minute appointment. Will be switching doctors ASAP.

Dr Hussain is the best Psychiatrist in Amarillo ! I have been to two others in the past and Dr Hussain is the most caring and nicest one of all. He has helped me get my life back.

I waited two hours to see this idiot to tell me in the whole seven minutes I talked to him. He diagnosed me and gave me drugs, which I thought I was going to crawl out of my skin after two days! This man should be prosecuted,there is no dout in my mind HE HAS SCREWED A LOT OF PEOPELS LIVES IN THIS AREA. My name is Richard Fowler and I wouldn't takeANYONE TO SEE HIM,EVER!!!!!

Dr. Hussain provides excellent care. He has helped me greatly.
