Telehealth
Easily the most unprofessional, unresponsive and uncaring medical “professional” I’ve ever had the misfortune to be inflicted upon my loved one. He is constantly late to every single telehealth appointment, by at least a half an hour on a good day. As far as I can tell he sees his patients as walking dollar bills, not a care in the world. Maybe this behavior is acceptable in Pakistan, but I’m shocked this man has a license in the civilized world. You would be better off seeing just about anyone else, you’d be hard pressed to find anyone worse.

Just quit your job if you hate it
Dismissive and aloof as any narcissist disgusted by your raw humanity. I thought 1 telehealth meeting with this eyeroller was the end of it but he was moonlighting & gaslighting at Centerpoint Hospital when I was falsely imprisoned. Where are the feds? It's like the Malik Mafia isn't even trying to hide their criminality.

A quack that just cashing a check
Seems more likely to just go thru the motions. Been a patient for over 5 years. Maybe he will break the script and actually show an ounce of interest. A very assembly-line Doctor.

So hard to advocate for yourself
Dr arain listened to none of my concerns, would not up my medicine when I needed it, and tried to diagnose me with a serious personality disorder within 10 minutes of meeting me (one my therapist of 4 years has never even considered being a possibility for me). Not trauma informed and rather cold and clinical

I am relieved to receive my diagnosis and would continue going to Dr. Arain, but he reschedules every appointment and runs extremely late. Very cold and clinical, not very warm or caring. Also impossible to get refills and uncaring office staff. Had to transfer to a different doctor.

My fiancé scheduled a zoom meeting with him, he was over an hour late to the meeting he set with him. When he FINALLY decided to connect with him for their meeting, he talked down to him the whole time like he is better than him just because he holds a doctorate title. He then responds to him after he asked a simple question, that HE is the only one asking the questions. HOW IN THE WORLD CAN YOU PRACTICE BEING A PSYCHOLOGIST IF YOU ARE ONLY THERE TO SAY WHAT YOU WANT AND NOT LET THE OTHER PERSON TALK! You deserve to lose your license!! I will be taking further actions!

What a terrible doctor, he talks down to you, was an hour late for the appointment that he rescheduled and when I tried asking a question he said "I'm asking the questions!" Idk who would want him as a doctor you shouldnt treat people like this.

He spent over an hour with me and felt like he truly understood my needs. He didn’t dismiss me like the last doctor I went to did. He was extremely thorough and helped me get back on track with my life. He seems very careful not to just medicate or over medicate. Yes he runs late but it’s because he actually spends time with people which a lot of doctors don’t. I highly recommend him.

It’s truly a shame that this individual is permitted to practice medicine. He treats patients like cattle. He books multiple appointments for short time-slots so you routinely have to wait over 2 hours. That is, if the staff don’t call to cancel your appointment 30 minutes before the scheduled time, which also happens frequently. And if he cancels you will not get a refill on your medication to get you through until you can get in. You’re just out of luck. His behavior is inexcusable.

This man is impossible. He prescribed medication that need to be taken daily, but then makes you jump through hoops to obtain monthly prescriptions. He’ll make you wait ages to see him or even cancel your appointment. He’s extremely disrespectful and unethical.

Routinely 40m to over an hour late to appointments. I ran out of my medication because he did not return repeated pharmacist calls. Insisted I have anxiety as well as depression, never been an issue but he did not listen. Brief and brusque appointments, less than five minutes one time. Office manager does not return calls or respond to complaints. Dr Arain does not return calls about questions or medication problems I cannot recommend using this office, practice, or doctor.

Incredibly arrogant. Very dismissive and talked down to. He seemed to be annoyed just sitting there. Clearly not the persona you need with mental health needs

I would never recommend this doctor to anyone. He does not care about you and it is evident from the moment you walk into the waiting room, very appropriately named because wait you DO!! At least 30-45 minute wait every visit, even when waiting for RX refills!! That is if you can get a refill. NO one answers their phones. I have tried for 4 days straight, at least 5 times a day with NO LUCK. But, they tell me to call in 3 days in advance for my RX refill. Really???

A proper evaluation wasn't done to diagnose issues. Instead general depression was diagnosed with a 2 week trial. All antidepressants take more time than that to work. The office is dirty & smells. It is always packed with what seems to be court ordered patients. The wait time is at least an hr. Seems full of dr paper pushers who want patients in & out. The staff is unfriendly- not even aware of what insurances they accept. There are much cleaner offices that care & schedule proper eval time.

Excessive wait times as well as cancellations of appointments at the last minute. My time is just as valuable as the doctor's, so if you make an appointment at a time you should be able to meet your end of the obligation.
