Dr. Mounir Mekhail, MD

His wife the office manager and the whole staff and doctors are awful. I was put on all these pain medications and now I'm being told, my pain is all in my head and maybe I didn't need these medications after all. I was told to find another doctor, after I questioned him. Put you on all these drugs and gives you just 30 days to find another doctor. He's a quack and I wouldn't recommend him to anyone.

My primary physician sent me to Dr Mekhail to help me with the pain in my legs caused by my back. I was skeptical at first, but did exactly as Dr Mekhail asked me to do. He put me on a pill with very low dose at first and built me up to enough that would help with my pain. I am very happy to say that because I listened to Dr Mekhail, I am as painfree as I can expect and he does not use narcotics. Thank you Dr Mekhail

NEVER take anyone you care about to this "doctor." He is a HORRIBLE person, will bill your insurance and never once listen to your questions, concerns or problems. He refuses any treatment other than the ones he WANTS to prescribe. If asked about other interventions, he becomes uncontrollably irate, rude, condescending and hateful. I'm positive he must be receiving kickbacks from the manufacturers of the only drugs he will prescribe. He has mistreated my father at the last 4 visits, refusing to listen to his questions or help him with his concerns. I question the authenticity of his license to practice medicine. Do not put your loved ones in harm's way by allowing them to see this "doctor." You will regret your decision in every way. Horrible, terrible, zero bedside manner, uncaring, unkind, not helpful. Other Mesquite doctors are extremely kind and devoted to their patients. This individual doesn't fit that pattern.

I was referred to Dr. M by my family physician for severe chronic pain. He read my chart my doctor sent to him, asked me questions and discussed a treatment plan. He changed my medication three times in accordance with my needs and what my insurance would pay. Dr. M listens to me and always asks questions at each visit. He has great bed side manners, will crack a joke sometimes and offers advice as well as medical treatment. I am always seen on time. I can discuss any concerns with Dr. M and not be made to feel unimportant. I am grateful.

I just moved to Texas from Ca and have been in search of a pain management doctor due to degenerative disc disease and the chronic pain I live with daily. I waited almost two hours which was fine, not that important in the grand scheme of things. Once I finally was put into a room with Dr Mekhail i immediately felt like I was being interrogated. He not only minimized/belittled my issues, he was condescending and rude. He treated me like a drug seeker and questioned everything I said to him. He

Dr. Mekhail is amazing. He takes the time to actually talk with you, answering your questions, making suggestions and explaining everything in detail and in laymen's terms. He doesn't type on a computer while you're in the room. You have his complete undivided attention. He has really helped me so that I can function in my daily activities and have a better quality of life.
