She blames you for your illness
Two weeks after leaving Dr. Talebian, my new Stanford pulmonologist ordered a three day sputum inducement test and two weeks after that, I had a diagnosis. MAC Lung disease. With Dr. Talebian, for two years I tried to get a valid sputum test, mine were rejected because of too much phlegm. This was the nature of my disease so I continued to suffer. The breaking point was her scolding me for taking prescribed steroid from an ER doctor during a flare up while she was on vacation. Telling me it was my fault I wasn’t getting better, that I wasn’t nebulizing, using aerobika, inhaling, or exercising correctly or enough and that I had to be more proactive about my health because “she was one of the best doctors around”. I couldn’t argue with her at the time you see because I had no voice for 3 weeks. Do YOUR job Dr. Talebian. For all her patients who are still suffering, go to Stanford. My disease did not have to get this bad.
