Ignores Issues
Was my mom’s doctor for 5 years. She consistently had blood sugar drops and instead of looking into this further, he kept referring her to a nutritionist. She was diagnosed today with pancreatic cancer by another doctor who she began seeing at the end of October. If her case had been taken more seriously, we would have been taking further steps sooner. We are just thankful we didn’t continue with this doctor and his quick answer of nutritionist.

I have seen Dr. Bakdash for about 4 years. I have never had a more caring doctor. I felt that the moment I met him. He made me feel like I was his most important patient. He listened to my concerns and was kind and compassionate and did not rush me. He explained what he was doing and was very knowledgeable. I would drive over 2 hours to see him too. He treats you like he really cares.

He is very nice and pleasant to be seen by, but is very difficult to understand. He also did not listen to me when I told him my symptoms and brushed it off as just a simple fix. His office was very unorganized, they had none of my files that my primary had sent over, and he disregarded them once they did get them.

Most of the time I saw the nurse practitioner. The doctor did not do much to help me control my diabetes. When it came to finding a new doctor I had trouble getting a referral from his office in order to see a new doctor of my choosing.
