I'm a raptured brain aneurysm survivor. The reason why I'm still alive is because of Dr. Abdalkader and the other MDs from BMC. I'm also a member of the Brain Aneurysm Support Group & noted that there are members from the Support Group that had their surgery went home to recover but was not told that they need to follow up with a Neurologist. I haven't even left the hospital and I already have an appointment with a Neurologist for BMC. One of the sessions of the Brain Aneurysm Support Group the members were made aware that studies suggests that Raptured Brain Aneurysm runs in the family. I can attest to that because my brother passed away during his sleep and the results of the autopsy state that he had a stroke. Most members were told to ASK their MDs to get their sibling or kid tested.I didn't have to do that because Dr. Abdalkader RECOMMENDED that my kids get MRA'd. He also told me that he wants to see them the same day they get a MRA. If you can pick a MD fr. BMC ask for him.

Finally a provider who did not dismiss my symptoms
I was suffering from severe migraine headaches for over 10 years that were starting to be debilitating and causing me to miss work and everyday events. Dr. Abdalkader listened to my issues, knew already exactly what I had even before doing MRI. Told me exactly what the next steps are, while doing the procedure he was checked up on me. Asked if I was ok, explained everything he was doing. He was the only provider who actually heard my symptoms and didn't discard it as a regular Migraine headache. I would 100% recommend everyone and anyone who is going through issues caused my migraine headaches and have been overlooked by other providers as just migraine or hereditary migraines.

happy and grateful to dr. Mohamad Abdalkader, Jenny and their entire team for their professionalism, their knowledge and concern for each patient, I came here because of a sound in my left ear, and constant headaches, after all the studies they gave me the correct diagnosis and explained it to me patiently what was happening. I feel happy after the placement of the intravenous stent, the sound in my ear and other discomforts have completely disappeared, thank God for putting me in the right hands

Aneurysm, Two Stent Surgery
Exactly today marks one month of my intervention. Through an ENT referral I met Dr. M. Abdalkader, MD. Thank God for giving him this great gift. It was a frustrating process for me due to other health problems - anemia, polyp and fibroid. I had been waiting for a month to see the specialist, with no hesitation Dr. Abdalkader emailed his colleague and I was able to obtain the necessary treatment to proceed with the intervention. Dr. Abdalkader always maintained the same tact and consistency in explaining the images, treatment and risks. And his support and that of his team was impartial. At the end of the intervention he approached me and said the recovery process was going to be slow and I turned to him and said, NO noise! Shocked Dr. Abdalkader said what? I repeated it's gone the noise! I lived 3 years without being able to sleep, I could not hear well through my right ear, I had no quality of life. A moment that was priceless, gave me back the desire to live!

Aneurysm, Stent surgery
Dear Dr. Mohamad Abdalkader, MD I just want to thank you for listening to me when I kept complaining about the pounding sound coming from my left ear. When we first met I told you about how I found my aneurysm, you believe me, and offered me a better way to correct the problem. After my aneurysm surgery, the pounding came back and you still stuck by my side and said just hold on because I've got a way to fix this problem. I did have a conversation with my other pain neurologist and he was against the stent surgery but I'm glad I did it because I'm free from that pounding sound. After all, there was a moment I want to go to sleep and never wake back up. After all, I was refusing to live that way. Thank you, Dr. Mohammed PS I recommend this surgery to anyone who has this problem.

LIFE CHANGING operation from this great Dr.!!!
For over THIRTY years, I suffered from what was called Tinnitus...also as many are told, there is no treatment. WELL through a lucky twist of fate, my ENT referred me to a specialist, who then referred me to what he called, "a specialists' specialist". Then I went to this magic maker, called Dr. Mohamad Abdalkader. To say that he changed my life is the biggest understatement to date that I have made. The whooshing sound in my ears kept me from enjoying so many aspects of day to day living...and kept me from soundly falling asleep at night. When the entire house is quiet except for the noise in your ear, it can be simply maddening! Watching TV at night was hard as well, because the whooshing overpowered the sound of the TV. I was operated on at the end of March, 2022. The whooshing has NOT COME BACK...not even for a moment. My life has changed for the better and words will never describe my gratitude for this Dr.! VERY highly recommended!

Amazing team!
I didn’t know what I had. I had been going to doctor after doctor trying to figure out what this noise was in my right ear. What I thought was tinnitus was diagnosed as venous stenosis; I cried when I found out there was a name for it! Dr. Abdalkader explained in detail what I had and how it could be fixed. I had an operation and woke up hearing nothing but voices! This man cares, he is the example all doctors should follow.

I was a patient of Dr. Mohammad Abdalkader, MD last year after having a burst aneurysm. I was lucky to get such an amazing group of neurology specialists at Boston Medical Center. I arrived late at night and was prepped for surgery the very next morning. He explained what they were going to do before the surgery. Which I appreciated. This happened pretty much in the beginning of COVID so no family members could visit. So the Doctors would visit me often to check on me and my progress. Dr. Abdalkader also was the one that did my angiogram this past July. He explained everything and even showed me before and after photos. Which I am thankful. I am so thankful and grateful to be here today and thanks to Dr. Abdalkader and team for making it possible. I have recovered well and I am back at work and regular activities as well.

I started with a pulsatile tinnitus. It was a constant sound where I would hear my blood flow in my left ear. Dr. Abdalkader took my case and diagnosed a Fistula in my head. I didn't have any other symptoms,no headache,no dizziness,no vomiting, everything was alright, except the sound in my left ear. They decided to analyze despite not having or showing more symptoms. They saved me from a future Stroke. The neurology department guided my through the process, they were clear with the information. The professionals in the department treated me nicely and respectfully. They answered every question or concern I had. The language used was technical but yet simple in order to let me understand everything that was being said (my background is not related to the health field, so there are many concepts or word I wouldn't understand, specially because I'm not native English speaker). The nurse Nicole Kiley was extremely kind and supportive. They make a great team together. Thank you so much!

Dr.Abdalkader, I can’t thank him enough for taking great care of my mother. She was first diagnosed for a sinus infection, at another clinic where they provided the meds, she notice was not working & was worse After 3 days she went to BMC where she had explain her symptoms where she was having double vision ,pounding headache all around sensitive to light ,they took a Cat scan where they found pocket of fluid .Dr. AbdalKader was called to take a look To let my father know it was a brain aneurysm . Doctor made an immediate decision to rush surgery since thier was a change in my moms face the pressure in her eye. He very well informed my father of all the risk and what he will be performing during surgery they placed a coil to prevent the aneurysm from bursting & my mom is recovering great ! what they explain is this is a miracle because in most cases the body does not notify you when this is happens or some don’t make it .I’m thankful everyday me &my family highly appreciate it all.

Dr. Abdelkader saved my life. I got injured in an accident and I was actively bleeding out of my neck. It turned out that the main artery going to the brain was ruptured. Dr. Abdelkader saved my life by stopping the bleeding by doing surgery through the vessels. God bless Dr. Abdlekader and Boston medical. They saved my life. I am now back to my family and to work like before

I had a bad fall in May and broke my wrist and fractured my back. I was in so much pain every single day. I ended up losing 70% of my T12 vertebrae. My Ortho Surgeon recommended me to go and see Dr. Mohamad Abdalkader, MD. I am so happy that I did see him. He did a procedure called Vertebroplasty. It help me a great deal. This has made a big difference. I highly recommend Dr. Mohamad Abdalkader. He is amazing, very nice, caring and makes you feel like he really cares. I can't thank him enough.
