Dr. Garcia is decent if you have a cold or something otherwise easy to treat. She is deplorable, however, if you start to experience chronic symptoms that take investigation. She's a lazy doctor who just likes to chat it up with easy patients.

Dr. Miriam Garcia has been my primary physician for the past 20 years. I do not have enough words to thank her for the care, professionalism, knowledge, and kindness she always had shown to me and to my family members. She oversaw my chemotherapy treatment last year, helping me understand the entire process and how it worked. She acted as the liaison between all the different teams of doctors, in charge of my treatments (oncology, pulmonology, blood/labs). Thanks to her, I am still here.

It is hard to find a doctor that really listens to and cares about their patients, yet I found it with Dr. Garcia. She treated me on several occasions, and really took the time to listen to my symptoms and issues. She showed concern and compassion and responded to my needs. She also made time in her schedule to get me in at the last minute when I had an emergency. I have since moved away from SF, and have unfortunately never found the quality of care that Dr. Garcia provided for me.
