Dr. Mar has been my psychopharmacologist for 20 years, managing my depression, SAD and PTSD. It took awhile to find the right combination of medications, but he is always mindful of the side effects and of the latest research. He also is holistic in his approach in that he recommends other approaches to mental health besides medication, such as light therapy or Omega-3 oil, backed with plenty of current research.

Dr. Mar is the worst Psychiatrist I have ever had. He overmedicated me by putting me on 7-9 different medications all at once: Mood stabilizing drugs, Antipsychotics, Antidepressants and sleep drugs. He could care less about the side effects and severe reactions I had to some of these drugs. I was on Risperdal and had such a bad reaction I had to take a month of disability. He also misdiagnosed me with Bipolar disorder. He has an arrogant attitude, and often berated me and put me down,
