Dr. Mihir Patel, MD

I have been a happy, very satisfied client of Dr. Patel for years. The other reviews can't possibly be correct, and are likely competitor Dr's offices in the area. Dr. Patel is a very meticulous, friendly, and kind physician. Otherwise, I would not have paid cash for the last year, to continue to see him, when Anthem took UC Health out of their network(2021). Now, thank goodness, this year, they are back in network.

Please run the other way. I went into see him because of Chest Pains. I have been experiencing these pains for about a month and instead of physically even touching me or listening to my concerns while I sit there and cry and tell him how bad it is, he tells me to take 2 ibuprofen and get back on anxiety meds. I tried to explain I have lumps and other things and proceeds to tell me its anxiety related and I need to just take those meds. How can you accurately diagnosis someone when you refuse to listen or lay hands on them. What happened to the Hippocratic oath? Do everything you can within your ability.. How is it within your ability when you refuse to hear your patient out and physically examine them? Then when you try and explain they just keep dismissing you. The front office staff could care less, just make sure you bill the insurance company and get your money right? Who cares if someone dies because they literally can't sleep or breathe. Appreciate nothing.

My experience was with Dr. Patel at the UC Health Medical Office in Castle Rock, CO. Dr. Patel was fine but the front desk personnel were terrible. They were arrogant and rude. They treat patients like cattle with no customer service attributes whatsoever. That included both of the front desk people. This happened on 2/25/2019 at 1:30 p.m.
