ER visit for Severe back pain
I could barely walk. I have had sciatica or so i thought for years but it had never been this bad. The ER did x rays and then put me in a wheelchair in the waiting room. Doctor came out, said your good, we are releasing you. I said 'so i am imagining my pain'? Oh, no replied the doctor, there is just not anything we can do for you here. I fully expected a shot for inflammation. I told my parents and they said that she probably thought i just wanted drugs. The arrogance of the doctor and the belittling way she made me feel like i had wasted her time after being up for several nights in terrible pain and to tell me im all good. With a smirk. Very pretty doctor but clearly she is in the wrong profession. I looked at my chart later and saw the results from the x ray showed i have arthritis in my hip and back. I will follow up with my own doctor, which i should have done in the first place instead of seeking immediate help from a hospital i used to trust in.

One of the most caring Doctors I've ever seen
I went to the emergency room about 8 months ago for something I thought was minor. I was having some pain in my side and thought I just needed an antibiotic. At the end of my visit Dr. McClintic came in the room with some devastating news. She was so caring and so compassionate. I can't imagine anyone kinder telling me what she did. This past weekend I found myself back at the ER. When she saw I was there she came in my room to check on me. She remembered every detail from that horrible night several months ago. She saved my life. I will never be able to thank her enough.
