GOT ME WORKING AGAIN!!!
This guy is great!!! read reviews before I saw him and was not super confident. Be patient, he has a certain way he likes to do things, but he really helped me. I had seen another Doc with copc that always kept me working, but he retired in august of 2020. I have been unable to work since October 2020 and own my own business, a body and paint shop, very hard work.I went through two other practices at Mt. carmel Pain Clinic in Grove City, Ohio, DON'T GO TO See Them!!! They did everything but what I asked for. Same Thing at Orth One, alltho other work done at ORTH one was great. I am 60 years old and still need to work, don't we all ? Dr. Skeels is AWESOME!!!

Impatient, dismissive rude
Waited 65 minutes for appointment. Dr Skeels was impatient and hurried, obviously running late. I have never seen a Dr so disinterested or dismissive. Even his initial greeting was rude “just what am I seeing you for your neck, back or hips because you are all over the place so decide?” He prescribed a medication I have had no success with and another I was concerned about so I asked questions. He was clearly annoyed with the questions. I explained they were not intended to challenge him but I was interested in the answers. I left the visit feeling disrespected and upset with far more uncertainty. The actual visit with him was a total of 9 minutes long. In his report he said it was a “prolonged visit” He also wrote we discussed treatment options that were never mentioned. His rude behavior and disinterested evaluation makes the decision to never see him again easy. The fact he was less than truthful in his report is unacceptable. It made me feel it was necessary to write this review.

Forty-five minutes after my scheduled appointment, he still had not come into my room. I could hear him outside the door talking to a sales rep. I left and walked past him, explaining that I had driven an hour to see him and I couldn’t wait any longer. He did not even apologize.

I would recommend Dr. Skeels. He is definitely a doctor who listens and will do what he can to help you. He has been my doctor for around 8 years or more. I wouldn’t want or trust anyone else to give me shots in my spine. I also appreciate he is always on time but I never feel rushed in our discussion about, how I’m doing.. Plus, he is very professional. Thanks for always taking the best care of me, Dr. Skeels!

I've been a patient of Dr Skeels for several years now for a lower spine/nerve issue. I have found him to be very attentive to issues I'm presenting and then comes up with an appropriate plan of action to correct the problem. Each procedure has addressed the problem for at least 2 years each time. I can't complain about that and it keeps me on the golf course.

I’ve seen Dr. Skeels for the treatment of my degenerative disk disease for a couple of few months now. I have received two spinal epidurals, consults and follow ups and all visits with him have been very informative, he took the time and listened to all of my questions and was eager to get me back to running and exercising.

I am furious at this time. Have seen Dr. Skeels 3 times and called for MRI results. They will give me no information until I scheduled another appointment. These are my records and I have the right to results. To make someone sit and worry for days just so they can get the money for another office visit is wrong.

Horrible. If your condition is anything outside of the 'cookie cutter' norm, this is NOT your doctor. Not caring. Goes through the 'script'. Three out of four visits ended up being with his assistant, even though he was in the building. Save yourself the time (your very valuable time), and find someone who will listen, care and take the time to actually see you for himself. I have moved on.

Dr Skeels was not knowledgeable about the condition that I have and so failed to diagnose me. After I sent a letter describing my dissatisfaction with the care and literature on the condition no one from the office ever called me.

This whole practice is notoriously late in seeing patients! I have been in there five times (for 2 different doctors) and each time I have waited over an hour and a half to see the doctor. Some of my appointments have even been early morning and still the wait was 1 1/2 to 2 hours. I have commented to staff about it and they have agreed and told me that it doesn't matter when I schedule---I will have a long wait. They have no respect for a patient's time.

I want a doctor to be kind and considerate of how you feel. Not only did Dr. Skeels not listen to me, but he completely ignored my symptoms. He made me feel like I was making my symptoms up. Why would anyone want back pain? The office staff and therapy office is great, but I can't believe he's supposed to be someone who helps others and he's telling me my pain isn't real. I am seeking another professional who cares about his/her patients and understands people as a whole!
