Dr. Piazza is one of the worst doctors I have ever met. Dr. Piazza does not listen to a word his patient says. He talks and interrupts constantly and does not even address the issue you came to see him about. I came to him with a muscular issue, which is outside his specialty. He would only discuss my spine, but he didn't even review or discuss the x-rays he took of my spine. What Dr. Piazza should have said was that he only deals with spinal issues and could not treat my muscular issue and he might have referred me to a different doctor. Instead, he kept talking about my arthritis, which I've had for decades and which was not bothering me, and he set me up with a PT session and a return visit to his office in 3 weeks. What for? I canceled the follow-up appointment and the PT session as soon as I got home. I also think Dr. Piazza is hard of hearing. He interrupted me whenever I tried to say anything, talked loudly, and repeatedly complained about not being able to hear me. He is lon

Sorely disappointed
I believe he is extremely skilled and above qualified…although he seemed upset that I was there to see him on my first visit. I had been referred and sent by my specialist. This doctor was rude, failed to listen… I treated him respectfully even though I was given a cold shoulder upon seeing him. I will not see him nor his staff. It took over a month to get calls returned for an injection. I guess he favors whom he wishes to favor.

How will you be treated – Aug 01, 2023
×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. Piazza?
I have respect for Dr Piazza’s skills and he is seemingly quite competent in his field. The reason I can only give 2 stars is that I felt I was treated with disrespect by him. I had questions but he seemed to get annoyed by my asking any of them. It was not a good experience and I will not go back nor will I recommend him.

Recommendation for Dr. Piazza & ARNP Allison
I have always been treated with the upmost respect whenever I am seen at this office. I’m listened to and made to feel like a person not a number. Both Dr. Piazza and NP Allison always sit me down to discuss my current situation; we agree on a treatment plan. I moved to FL 5 yrs ago and I’m very happy I chose this group.

On 9/29/20 I had major reconstructive back surgery that included 3 fusions and correction of a prior surgery. After interviewing 4 docs, I selected Dr. Piazza because of his extensive pre-surgery research and testing. Dr Piazza was more thorough than any Dr. I have seen. It has been almost a year since surgery and I have absolutely no back pain. I can never thank Dr. Piazza enough for relieving my back and leg pain. I give Dr. Piazza 5 stars only because 10 is not an option!!

I can not say enough how wonderful Dr. Piazza is. He came in to see me in the hospital on Easter Sunday. All smiles and booked me for surgery. He is so caring and treats you like you are special. This is a Doctor that I would say loves his work and it shows! Thank You Dr Piazza for your wonderful care and bedside manner. You showed up the next morning after the surgery and explained everything to me. You are a gift from God!!!

I found his practice exceptional; from the pleasant receptionist to his assistant and technician. I check a doctors educational accreditations thoroughly prior to an appointment, his were outstanding. He was / is friendly, informative and precise and offered multiple remedies suggesting the least invasive (a therapy, on which he doesn't make a buck), I thought that extremely ethical. If your looking for warm and fuzzy, look elsewhere; Dr. Piazza is straight forward, ethical, honest and extremely knowledgeable. He is friendly but has time contraints limiting much of the socializing sometimes expected. I highly recommend him and his staff.

Worst experience ever. My first appointment, I waited at least an hour. I think they forgot about me. Receptionist doesn't have a clue. For my second appoint the receptionist wanted to tell me I was on Medicare, when I told her I wasn't that old. She then wanted to argue with me about my co-pay. I had to keep telling her it was 10.00 and she just keep asking me if I was sure. I tried to call and change my appoint and no one answered the phone so I left a call back number. Guess what...no one called me back. When I arrived for my appointment I told the receptionist what had happened and all is could say is, I don't know what to tell you. Wow. So they took me back to a room and I sat there for 40 minutes. I finally left. It seems my time means nothing to them. I have never had an experience like this one. RUN..........

This is the fourth surgery Dr. Piazza has performed on me (knee, Arm, Lumbar Spine, and Cervical Spine), with each one being a total success. Dr. Piazza takes the time to explain everything thoroughly including alternative options. He has a team of very skilled and experienced professionals working with him. I would definitely recommend Dr. Piazza to family, friends, and anyone who wants the best possible surgical outcome. In my book he is the best.

Over a year ago my lower back disc issue flared up. I had been on meds from my PCP for inflammation and spasms for months. I did my research &found Dr. Piazza. I continued with the meds and had the spinal injections & PT. Things seemed to be getting better until my final PT visit where I put my back out. Seeing how I was getting worse I decided to move forward w/surgery. I had L4L5 lumbar laminectomy & fusion using robotics. I am 98% better. No pain anymore. I highly recommend Dr. Piazza!

My husband Larry just had surgery on May 10th for extreme pain in his left shoulder. I want to express our gratitude to Dr. Piazza, Ray and all of his staff. They took such wonderful care of my husband and treated him just as if he was part of their own family. My husband is now pain free and had a short and remarkable recovery. If any one out their has pain and needs surgery in my opinion Dr. Piazza is the very best! Thank you Dr. Piazza!!!!

I have been seeing Dr. Piazza for over a year for stenosis of the spine. The pinched nerves in my lower back caused almost constant pain. I had steroid infections twice. The second time they didn't work at all. Surgery seemed to be the only answer. I had surgery two weeks ago and even though I am not completely healed yet, I believe the surgery was a huge success. Dr Piazza did a great job. He and his staff communicate with you all along the way. I am very satisfied with the care I received.

I went to Dr. Piazza to get a second opinion. I had been told I needed a spinal fusion. Dr. Piazza reviewed my MRI's and X-Rays thoroughly. He then told me my back was fusing naturally and since I was taking nothing for pain, he would not recommend the fusion as there are always possibilities the surgery won't give the desired results.I went for second opinion and found an honest Dr. that knows what he is doing,

I have been dealing with back pain and leg pain as well as neck pain for more than 4 years. A friend of mine told me to check this man. Wow is he a real miracle worker. I call him Dr. Michael Miracle, he not only has cured me but listened to all my woes about where things hurt. He gave me the first time which was 5 yrs ago a shot in my lower back when I fell in the back yard.. I thought it could have been when I slipped on the grass, and the shot really helped. I really like him.
