GREAT doctor, poor staff/billing
Let me start by saying that Dr. Papagikos is an excellent doctor and I do not think that I could have been in better hands. However, my rating is for his office staff and for the billing department, or at least the way that they do their billing/coding. I am being told, since they are considered part of the hospital, that they are forced to bill appointments as follow ups, not doctor's visits. So, my deductible has to apply, not my co-pay. So, I should pay more because of the way THEY chose to set up their system??? Unfortunately, I will be transferring to a different doctor/facility so that I don't have to pay twice as much to visit the doctor. Dr. Papagikos....thanks for all that you have done, you are an excellent doctor!!!!

First of all let me say that no one will see this doctor because he wants to. You will only see him if and when you have a certain condition. That being said, I have found him to be a very caring and thorough man, as well as a great doctor. He is thorough and knowledgeable in his field but he takes the time to make sure you understand what he is saying. The staff there is truly wonderful. I really can’t say enough about them from reception to treatment except that I wouldn’t trade any one of them for anyone. I have always been welcomed and treated with utmost respect. Everyone in the office has taken the time not only to know me due to my condition, but has gone to any lengths imaginable to comfort and console when necessary and to put me at ease with treatments. 39 radiation treatments is a tough thing to go through. Thank you to everyone in that office for making it bearable. You people are all the best.

Dr. G is wonderful, patient, extremely knowledgable in his firmed. We thought we would have to continue going to Johns Hopkins and Duke and are thrilled to have found such a high caliber doctor here at home in Wilmington.
