Experience with this Doctor was excellent. He expertly diagnosed and explained the condition. Very personable and easy to talk to. Not rushed, gave time for questions. Highly recommend!

The best neurologist I've seen in Rhode Island by far. If you can see him for your neurological issues, do it. No regrets with my choice at all. He takes a genuine interest in your issues and truly wants to help. He has an honest down-to-earth demeanor and you never feel talked down to when seeing him. His staff is pleasant as well which is an added bonus. I hope he stays in the area for a long time.

Yesterday I saw Dr. Michael McCauley for tremors. I first began to notice them in my left hand about two years ago when holding it in certain positions. I then began to see and feel them in my head about a year ago. I would experience them off and on but they started to become more frequent and especially worse if I was stressed or anxious. It became clear that I should see a neurologist. Dr. McCauley was recommended to me by my primary care doctor. Upon meeting him, he immediately put me at ease with his friendly and down to earth personality. We talked about my history and he began testing different motor abilities. Once done, he diagnosed me with benign tremors which was something I was greatly relieved to hear. My worst fear was Parkinson's. He prescribed a drug called Primidone and explained how to start taking it and how it works. I couldn't have been happier with Dr. McCauley and his evaluation and expertise. I know I'm in the best hands!
