I was so hopeful about the apt. My neurologist ( who I had seen for my pain and headaches ) had sent me to him after my MRI showed “moderate to severe “ stenosis to C 4 5 and C 7 8. My neurologist had told me my choices were nerve block shots for pain or surgery that physical therapy could make it worse. Dr Lynn was very condescending and arrogant as he stated HE was the surgeon and would not do surgery and then wrote in my report that I had”fairly mild stenosis “ consistent with my age. ( which is a lie) he recommended phy therapy or shots, I do not want to mask the pain with nerve blocks or possibly make my neck worse by physical therapy. I was rear-ended at a red light a few years ago and had a bad concussion and have suffered with neck pain and headaches ever since. I do not recommend this doctor. So disappointed. I will be looking for another surgeon.

Best Neurosurgeon I've ever had
I can pretty much say that Dr. Lynn saved my life. I came to him after finding out that my shunt malfunctioned. He set me up for surgery to get it revised. Turns out, my old shunt completely stopped working and he replaced it with a better shunt. It has changed my life for the better and I'm only 2 weeks post op. I've bounced from NS to NS, because none would listen to me about something being wrong with my shunt. But Dr. Lynn did and took care of me. Thank you, Dr. Lynn for everything and for helping me feel 100x better than I have in the last 1.5 years! You are an amazing Doctor!

Best care after lifetime of back doctors.
I am 60 years old with degenerative disc disease and multiple back injuries over my lifetime. I was referred to Dr Lynn for multiple herniated cervical disc. He treated very conservatively for over a year. Finally with treatments and injections not working we decided on surgery. He helped me feel as if it was my decision. Surgery was very complicated with him working around an existing fusion to replace two disc with artificial units. My operation was very successful. Dr Lynn is the best surgeon I have had in a lifetime of back problems and injuries. Personable, patient, conservative treatment. A top professional and a genuinely nice person. Can’t say enough good about Dr. Lynn.

My experience with Dr. Lynn has always been excellent. He takes the necessary time to listen to you and fully explain his diagnosis. I have never felt rushed or that I did not have his full attention. His credentials are outstanding. I travel 2 hours from N.C., and it is worth it.

My personal physician sent to his office. After waiting two weeks to be called, I called them. They told my appointment would be in five weeks with Dr. Gardner. Finally when my appointment came up Gardner stated he doesn't do the surgery anymore and sent me to Lynn. On the day of the appointment they called me 30 minutes ahead and cancelled. Then the next week they called the afternoon before and cancelled. I am now looking for another surgeon that is reliable.
