Saved my life
I was diagnosed with stage 4 non small cell cancer in my left lung. The hospital that diagnosed me I chose to leave AMA as I wanted to find a true professional. I was referred to Dr Liptay & was seen within days. Dr Liptay & his team ran many tests and came up with a treatment plan that concluded with complete removal of my left lung. Sounds awful but this was 14 years ago. I still see him after a CT scan every year. His protocol is as wonderful as his personality. He saved me. I can never repay that. I just wish I behaved better after what happened but I’m grateful for the time he’s given me.

Definitely recommend after my experience!
Telehealth
On 9-11-23 Dr. Liptay removed my stage 2 tumor of my right lower lobe laparoscopically. He and his staff are outstanding. They do their best to give you the best care possible. I can’t imagine getting the care I received at RUSH anywhere else. I’m happy I decided to make the decision to put my care in their hands.

Outstanding surgeon
Dr. Liptay and his entire team are truly outstanding. I was seen promptly and treated with care and compassion. He spent a great deal of time during my initial visit, answering all of my questions. I never felt rushed in any way. He performed a lobectomy and my recovery has been rapid and smooth. The PA's on the team have also been wonderful. I'm very grateful I chose Dr. Liptay as my surgeon and recommend him enthusiastically.
