Terrible personality
Terrible personality. Rushes in and out & acts like it's a chore to speak to you.Staff was nice enough, but vey disorganized. What should have been 2 visits turned into half a dozen due to the staffs carelessnss. Still not sure If my diagnosis was correct.I'll be looking elsewhere first chance I get. Talk about a doctor that needs to retire.......

BEWARE!
Dr. Diagnosed me with Emphysema 5 yrs. . Never given any information about this disease. Not very friendly. Never seemed to know who I was. Last Dec. diagnosed me with emphysema exacerbation. Over 3 weeks gave me stronger & stronger inhalers, but no improvement. Last contact by video chat, he yelled at me for not using strongest inhaler. Gave ok to travel to FL for the winter & said to call him if I needed meds. Finally went to ER because I simply could not function being unable to walk to another room without severe shortness of breath. Upon arrival @ ER, my blood pressure & heart rate were extremely high. EKG showed my heart was not beating, but just quivering! My heart ejection rate was 16 (normal is +50). Spent 6 days in hospital with severe congestive heart failure due to A-Fib. Drs. said this had nothing to do with my lungs. Two Drs. told me my Pulmonologist should have caught this!

He told my husband he had pulmonary fibrosis and gave no information about the disease or that it was a terminal disease. By the time we discovered information on our own it was too late for meds that would hold off death while we pursued possible transplant. He declined quickly and died 3 months later in hospice. His demeanor is horrible. I have filed a complaint against him rather than sue him. I don’t want money I want him to retire immediately.

Although he is very knowledgeable and his staff is very friendly he always seems to be in a hurry and really does not spend much time with individual patients. Also he does not practice at the hospital I go to and so when I do end up seeing him he had not reviewed my charts/history that the hospital forwarded to him and so it ended up being a short visit while he rescheduled me for two weeks later after he had time to review, etc.

He is always rushing out the door. I'd find myself stopping him to squeeze in more questions. He did talk me out of some optional surgeries at one point which was appreciated. However, he was not very helpful when I had a failed sleep study and even less help when my medication stopped working for me. During the almost 2 years that I struggled, there was a newer version of the medication I was on that he never suggested. I ended up losing my job due to his lack of care. Will never go back
