Trash
Will compare a head car crash at 50mph to football hit. Dr. Kern doesn't care about people or patients. If he can hurt someone he will.

No empathy for an old woman
I have chronic knee issues and after doing some research I sought an appointment with Dr Kern based on his educational background. I was instead seen by his Physician Assistant whose name I can't recall right now but he gave me the most painful cortisone shot ever then acted like it was MY fault that the pain of it made me jump - I'd had shots in my knee before that never hurt like that. Dr Kern came in only briefly just to tell me that since I'm not 60 yet I'm not a candidate for knee replacement so the plan was just to keep the swelling down until then - for over 3 years??? He didn't even offer physical therapy, saying it doesn't help - it has always helped me immensely so I insisted on a referral, and why would he dismiss nonsurgical treatment? The whole office feels like a conveyor belt to send people to their in-house surgery center, which all the doctors have financial interest in. I felt as though they might have cared and not been so dismissive if I were young and athletic.

I do NOT recommend Dr. Michael Kern!
Dr. Michael Kern and his assistant, Jen, were rather rude and unprofessional from the beginning. I was a worker’s comp injury and they just acted like they didn’t want to “fool with me” since they couldn’t file under my private BCBS. They herd people in like cattle, spend little time explaining things and completely MIS-DIAGNOSED my injury. A simple lesson in “people skills” and “bedside manner” would behoove Dr. Kern. I do NOT recommend using Dr. Michael Kern.
