DO NOT GO TO THIS DERMATOLOGIST FOR ACNE!!!!!!!!
I have been going to this doctor for months for my acne, each time I come he lies to my face and says my acne has improved, and continuously prescribes bs medication that have no effect on my condition. THIS IS A SCAM OPERATION. He'll try to become your friend and act like he wants to help you, but he sets you up to keep coming back, buying prescriptions that don't work, and overall giving him money. He will lie to you about your condition improving in order to milk your money. Do not fall into this trap, find another dermatologist who is actually interested in helping you rather than taking your money and deceiving you.

Please find another dermatologist
I consider myself a loyal person. I’ve gone to Dr. Jackson on occasion. Each time I had to wait an unreasonably amount of time to see him. For example, I arrived at 2:30 on a Saturday and left at 5:00 pm. During this visit I mentioned how I’m always early for my appointments but I still have to wait. Dr. Jackson used an condescending tone and I felt as if I was as being reprimanded. Needless to say, I wasted my valuable time coming into his office today. NO one treats me or talks to me the way he did today. So, I left and had my co-payment refunded. I’ll go back to my former dermatologist. At least, she respects you and your time. Please find another dermatologist. He’s very arrogant and doesn’t respect your time. God forbid, if you show up late.

This is a Warning to anyone who even fathoms the thought of going to Jackson Dermatology, please don’t run the other way!!!! At 10:47 PM which I have a recorded phone call of, DR. Jackson called me from his office asking me for an explanation as to why I was requesting for all of my prescriptions to be sent to my pharmacy instead of prospect pharmacy as he suggested. Then stated to me “Listen I am the HEAD HONCHO and QUARTERBACK to this office what I say goes! No one else's authority matters in this office but mine! I am the one who puts my name and license and these scripts that have to be sent out to these pharmacies.” NO doctor should ever make you feel as violated as I did with him, he made it clear as day he does not care about me as a patient. PLEASE I BEG EVERYONE DO NOT EVER THINK OF GOING TO THIS ARROGANT MAN UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE MISSED TREATED, UNDERMINED AND SPOKEN TO AS IF YOU WORK FOR HIM THEN USED FOR HIM TO PROFIT WITH HIS SIDE SCAM DEAL WITH PROSPECT DRUGS PHARMACY!

HORRIBLE Dermatologist – Mar 25, 2021
×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. Jackson?
Dr. Jackson is a very unprofessional, nasty, angry man. He treats his staff similiar to dogs. He talks down to them in the hallways outside of the patients rooms and he also did it infront of me several times. When he pulls the girls (His medical staff) out of the rooms, they leave happy and after come back looking scared, stressed and teary eyed. He turns the music on when leaving the room but I can still hear him cursing and belittling his staff. He has no respect for patients time, he is ALWAYS late and forever behind schedule. When he is late or behind schedule, he blames his staff but they are always fast and pleasant. A few times in the waiting room, other patients would mention his behavioral and ethical problems that they've seen or heard but some brushed it off. Not me. I will NOT be returning to Jackson Dermatology ever again. Once I even got an expired sample but thank God the young lady gave me 2 samples because the other medication was in good standing.

Dr. Jackson is a very accomplished dermatologist who worked wonders with me. I had a severe case of eczema that I had gone to a number of practitioner's seeking relief, to no avail. Dr. Jackson's expertise became the deciding factor that ultimately got rid of my eczema. I am very pleased with the fact that my condition was resolved. I am forever indebted to him and his caring staff.

I had two medical insurance cards. He accepts one but not the other. In order for my insurance to pay him, his office needed to provide me with an itemized bill with the procedural code . They refused to give it to me so when I had my insurance company call them, they hung up the phone on them. How strange?? What are they hiding that they refuse to provide them with the procedural code? This issue is still pending. His staff is extremely rude!!!

This was a nightmare experience. Not only did the office vehemently lie about sending my scripts to my personal pharmacy BECAUSE i chose to opt out of sending my medication to the office supported Windsor Pharmacy. The receptionist is extremely rude and condescending. I mean that literally, my feelings are not in this review. Be very wary.

Going to Dr. Jackson's office is an experience I always look forward to. Not only is Dr. Jackson a very knowledgeable and capable dermatologist, but the work he does with the young women who make up his staff, young women of all ethnicities, is worthy of note. To witness them conduct themselves in such a professional manner, be so knowledgeable of the field which they have chosen, and administer in such a kindly, courteous, and caring fashion is a side of our youth never making the news. I've been going to Dr. J for over 10 years. I trust his medical decisions and instincts. From treating me for acne to quickly diagnosing me as having an acute reaction to penicillin, Dr. J has never steered me wrong. I now take my baby girl and he has helped clear her skin as well. I recommend him to all of my friends with skin conditions (and even to strangers on the street). I do warn them about the wait time, however, who doesn't want as much time with the doctor as they can get?

The Staff is very courteous & Friendly.. The office is welcoming which made it comfortable.. The wait time was 30 minutes which was not bad. The Con of my treatment is the Dr is affiliated with a pharmacy located in bayside queens there was a24 hr home delivery of the medication.. I'm in discomfit waiting for my prescription to arrive to my home.. Because of the wait my condition went from bad to worse and I had to go to an urgent care center for further treatment ...
