No long wait time to get started with paperwork and have insurance information entered into system. Staff took time to listen to purpose of visit. Dr listened and discussed options for treatment that could be considered for this visit. Very comfortable and pleased with outcome.

Dr. Heilig is a great surgeon. He did my Right hip replacement in 2016, Left Hip & knee in 2020 and my right knee 2021. My results have been wonderful. He helped me when no one else would. 100% recommend him. Just remember with any replacement surgery Therapy to recovery.

after I hurt my shoulder playing football I came to see Dr heilig, he fixed me right up. I will be back on the football field very soon. I feel better and should be back to normal soon.

His liscence has been revoked! My mother had to have a shoulder replacement and was assigned to Dr Heilig. The first surgery failed and he performed a revision within the week. That also failed and he said he couldn’t do anything else for her. She had a severely dislocated arm for several months until we could get another doctor to take her case. This new doctor performed a reverse shoulder replacement (which Dr Heilig said couldn’t be done) and totally improved my Mother’s quality of Life.

ACTS LIKE A LITTLE KID! IF YOU ASK QUESTIONS THAT HE DOES NOT WANT TO ANSWER OR CAN'T HE PICKS UP HIS OR YOUR PAPER WORK , LEAVES THE ROOM AND REFERS YOU TOO UK WHO HAS TOO SEE PEOPLE THAT HE DOES NOT OR CAN NOT HELP ANYMORE! VERY POOR CARE AND VERY UNPROFESSIONAL! HE IS VERY CUT HAPPY WHICH WILL NOT GIVE BONES TIME TO HEAL BEFORE HE WANTS TO COMMIT SURGERY OVER & OVER AGAIN!!!

Hip surgery and still have problem

Never. I was treated at Baptist health in Richmond. Dr Heilig was recommended. As a followup. I called. Made appointment. When I arrived I check ed in , 1 hr. And 40 minutes later I was ushered into exam room. No one told me Dr Heilig would not be there. I was seen by his PA. $45. Co pay for a non md. Who was unable to even write a perscription. I was told I needed an MRI. I explained I was scheduled for one through UK med center. I have a pacemaker I can only have an MRI every 6 months. Failed

Dr heilig is very easy to talk to. He takes all the time needed with each and every patient! Dr heilig has performed two surgeries on myself withh great success! I would recommend him highly! The staff is always very excellent to schedule appointments and help you with anything you need! I wouldn't consider going to any other doctor

Dr. Heilig was great but the office was not. I would not recommend anyone to go there unless you have an entire day to devote to your appointment. The lobby was packed the whole time I was there and I had to wait about an hour to see the doctor. After the appointment I waited for over an hour and a half at the pharmacy for my prescription to be called in. I made 2 calls to the office to remind them to do it and never got it filled. I will not be returning to this office.

Dr. Heilig is the best orthopedic I have been to. He is caring, patient, and kind. He really made me feel at ease and explained my condition, and he took the time to discuss my options so that i thoroughly understood. I have recommended him to family members and friends, all of which have been satisfied with their treatment. I also love the staff. Everyone is so nice.
