Surgery Was Unsuccessful and Debilitating
Dr. Haglund told me I would have at least a 65% successful outcome if I did the cervical surgery. One year and three months ago, I am in more excruciating pain than prior to the surgery. I would consider other options when making your choice of neurosurgeons.

Put Your Surgical Faith in Dr. Haglund…
… and he gives God the glory! Twenty years ago Dr. Haglund performed a L5-S1 surgery after which I have never again had pain. Six months ago Dr. Haglund surgically fused 3 of my neck discs. Again, I am pain free! Dr. Haglund has a peaceful manner and imbues one with immediate confidence. The results speak for themselves. He puts his faith in God, and his heart and soul into his patients.

Professional God-fearing man
I have never met a doctor like Dr. Haglund. His christ center professionalism. And care for his patients is remarkable I would highly recommend him. It was outstanding to me, that he invited the Lord into the surgery room before I was wheeled back I feel like a new man. I thank the Lord for leading me to him. Never met a surgeon who gives the Lord the credit for his work, instead of thinking he is, God. I thank God for using his hand, He’s honest and caring and took his time, explaining everything and listening to my questions. Never felt rushed.

Dr Haglund diagnosed and treated me surgically when 3 other local doctors couldn't. He literally saved me. He was incredibly thorough and explained everything that was going to happen. He saw me through it. A very tough and intricate surgery, but eventually my pain has lessened and I am as functional as I possibly can be. Without the surgery my prognosis was the worst. He is the person you should go to if you need cervical surgery. I wouldn't go anywhere else ever again.

No follow through or follow up after major cervical spine operation. Treats in cookie cutter fashion. Doesn't listen. His team does everything they can to prevent you from seeing him after surgery. Cavalier. Doesn't fix his mistakes. Terrific before surgery. Terrible after surgery. Shoddy notes.

I was very scared about my neck and back surgery. Doctor Haglund acted like he had all the time in the world for me as he answered my every question again and again. I felt as if I was his only patient and that he really cared for me and for my well being. As I was being prepped for surgery I was praying silently that all would go well. Get this.... Doctor Haglund came to see me one more time before I was wheeled in to surgery. Not to talk to me, not to talk to my husband, but to pray over me.

Dr. Haglund is an excellent surgeon, but he is also a very compassionate man. He was very thorough in explaining my diagnosis, as well as showing me my films with understandable details, and discussing the plan for treatment. His prayer just before my surgery was wonderful and I knew that our Lord was with us both. Very high recommendations. I am so thankful for the referral that led me to him.

He is very professional and straightforward with his care and treatment. I had three cervical vertebrae fused and it was tough for the first two weeks. After a month, it was better and progressively got better. It's been a year now and I am so glad it was done and I have nothing but tremendous respect and appreciation for Dr. Haglund.
