I have been seeing Dr. Graham for a few years.
Dr. Graham is always professional, knowledgeable, thorough, and gives me the time I need. I trust his skill and feel confident in his care. The office has been through transition but I am usually seen within a reasonable time frame. Staff are friendly and efficient.

Not recommended
My father was seen for eyesight issues by Dr. Graham. He then did laser surgery to remove what he diagnosed as scar tissue related to a prior Cataract surgery. It did nothing to improve his eyesight. After then being referred to another physician within the office they were surprised there was no Field Test done. They then performed a Field Test and determined my dad was suffering from a neurological optical issue. We subsequently determined he had an occipital lobe stroke and this was easily identifiable from the Field Test. This is a case of jumping to surgery without doing proper analysis. This was my experience with my Dad and me and my family also found Dr. Graham rude and abrupt. His disposition was not in alignment with the bio story on the website. I recommend finding another doctor.

The office is run horribly!
I have nothing against Dr. Graham. However, the Magruder Eye Institute on Mills Avenue is run horribly. I've always had to wait over 30 minutes past my appointment time, but today was a new low for them. My appt was at 12:15. By 1:35, I still had not been seen. -- When I asked the front office staff after waiting an hour past my appointment time -- they said, none of Dr. Graham's patients had been seen yet. They need to have someone else set up their scheduling. It is ridiculous to make a patient wait more than 1 hour 20 minutes for past an appointment time. I don't know how long I ultimately would have been kept waiting , but after an hour and 20 minutes -- I asked for a refund and cancelled my appointment.

No, I would not refer this provider to anyone. Although Dr Graham was polite and professional while examing me, he was very impersonal. I have been coming here for several years and it seems they always find a way to charge you cash for something. Last year, I was charged $50 for a prescription. Had I not asked for a prescription, I would not have had this fee. This year, I was charged $50 and when I questioned why I was being charged I was told it was for the exam that would have allowed me to get a prescription, had I asked for one. Apparently the rules changed and although I have a vision policy, that could not be used because I was seeing an ophthalmologist. Since I was there because I have cataracts, you would think I would be asked if I wanted an actual eye exam, since they know up from the insurance will not pay for it. Prior to last year, I never got an actual prescription and never had to pay $50, although I was asked if I wanted a copy of the prescription when I checked out/

These reviews here are awful. I almost canceled my appointment because of them. The staff was extremely safe, friendly and organized. Dr. Graham is great. Very thorough and informative. Made sure I didn't have any questions at all.

Dr Graham was awesome he was professional & comforting but office experience HORRIBLE SERVICE: The staff is rude, you are huddled from room to room like cattle. the wait time is ridiculous. they ask upfront to be paid for services yet they send you bills stating you did not pay your bill. I was told to take it up with a supervisor Chad who called and had a rude attitude asked me why did I come back to them since I did not like the service since 02/19. I was already in the process & the anticipation & fear of surgery made me stay to complete both surgery but I have never been more dissatisfied with a medical group. I have been told that my insurance has not paid for the first surgery yet so embarrassed I called my insurance company who stated they paid Magruder & was able to furnish a check number. Chad told me that I was speaking too loudly after explaining I was speaking from a car phone & may sound loud but I was not shouting or upset and for that reason he will not reverse the illeg

His office staff are not well trained, so it doesn’t transfer into confidence in the Doctor. I won’t be returning to that office.
