too busy he let beginner do it
he was supposed to do my nerve ablation. instead he let an inexperienced doctor do it. after she hit the wrong nerve i had to repeat “inner thigh” 5 times and point to my leg to convey where they hit. then he asked where they were supposed to be numbing. did they not read the chart? after the inexperienced doctor stuck me a second time with the huge needle and couldn't find the right spot he found it and then left the room.

WARNING about this DR !
I normally do not leave reviews but I felt a need to help patients like myself from this Dr !!! “ DO NOT GO TO THIS DR”. I read reviews on him and certain ones complaining about their urine test showing things that they never took but I thought I didn’t know the whole story and ignored the reviews. What a MISTAKE , I have been going to my previous pain Dr for 12 years for Chronic Pain with no issues and it took 1x to see this Dr to have a black mark on my name They said my urine showed high amounts of a drug I wasn’t prescribed, I have never taken it or even have it in my house. I said to do another test now or even blood test but they refused and wouldn’t refill my meds that I’ve been taking for 11years so I spoke with my previous pain dr and he told me to tell them to rerunthat urine so I did and they refused !! This place should be shut down. If this Dr really cared they would have redone it or agreed to rerun the original urine PLEASE HEED MY WARNING!!

Find another doctor!
I took my 85 year old mother who has Alzheimer's to see Dr. Danko for low back pain. He gave her a 30 day prescription for pain meds and an appointment to return in 4 weeks. The follow up appointment was with the nurse practitioner, Kevin. We arrived 20 minutes late. I explained to the receptionist that I drove 1.5 hours to the appointment and that my mother had a difficult walking the distance from the parking lot to the office. I apologized for being late.Kevin, the nurse practitioner refused to see my mother! There was no conversation. It was just a 'NO, YOU ARE 20 MINUTES LATE'. My mother is not a medication seeking addict (like most of their patients). She is an 85 year old Alzheimer's patient with chronic pain. Never going back there!!!

I love this Dr. He listens and hears you and so does his staff. When I have to get injection's he makes it so easy with some music, singing and humor. We need more Dr.s like him. Thank you Dr. Danko for all you do for me.

A wonderful doctor
Dr Danko is a caring, loving doctor. He treats each patient by listening to their needs and pain score. He really cares for your health and is genuine is doing so. He is not like other doctors just trying to make money based on how many patients they can fit in a day!! He takes his time and gives everyone individual care. He’s wonderful. I love having him as my pain management doctor! I’ve been to a lot of them and he is the best.

Worse doctors office ever
He runs a terrible pill mill of a practice. He only sees pts who are getting injections. He has no bedside manner, he does not acknowledge the pt, he comes in blaring his music and his lack of concern for pt comfort and his rushed experience is seriously concerning for someone who is injecting into the spinal cord. I had more pain after the injection that before. Almost all of the staff are rude with the exception of Lanya and Kevin. Drug screens are paid out of pocket since they cant be bothered to code correctly. GOOD LUCK trying to get anyone on the phone for anything, literally the second coming of the messiah will come long before anyone answers a phone in this horrific place!!!

Money hungry no concern for the pain of his patient, no empathy. I wouldn’t take my dog to this doctor and he should be ashamed of himself

Usually we have no problems at the Mt. Orab Office. My wife and I go regularly. Yesterday, I saw Jordan the MA. She was great as usual. I’m getting my needed meds today. My wife saw another MA. We left having paid copays, being told that our meds were ordered. However, at the pharmacy we were told that the MA my wife saw DID NOT order her meds. Now it’s Friday, we can’t each Dr Danko or anyone at his office. So my wife will spend the weekend in pain simply because someone in his office messed up (despite her paying for her visit) and there’s no way to reach anyone to resolve the problem.

You are never able to actually see the doctor unless you are getting injections. If you request an appointment with your doctor instead of the nurse practitioner, you will be told no. Regardless of why you need to see them.

Words can't even possibly begin to describe how much Dr Danko has changed my life for the better. In November I had a medtronic's pain pump implanted and it has revolutionised my life. I can do things now that I haven't been able to do in over 10 years. I can walk I can clean house I can do laundry I can play with my grandbabies. I just can't even begin to say enough good things about him. And it's not just him it's the entire staff the physician's assistants the medical technicians the office staff they're all just absolutely fabulous. And I liked it they have two offices one in Cincinnati and one in Mount Orab. If you want a good pain management position then look no further because I promise you he actually truly does care about his patients. He has a wonderful disposition of personality. Anyway I thank God every day that my family doctor referred me to dr. Danko. Thank you Doctor Danko for everything you've done for me sincerely

I have been treated by Dr. Danko since before he started his own practice. He is a fine doctor but his staff at the Mount Orab office suck. The little snit at front desk, procedure scheduling is a joke, 1/2 of the NP's are bias and uncaring, and now even the so called office manager doesn't do her job anymore. This office is out of control. While I would still recommend Dr. Danko I would NOT recommend the Mount Orab office.

The first visit was with Dr. Danko who was knowledgable and answered all my questions. They also use real labs for urine tests so no more fake positives or negatives. After that I saw a Nurse Practitioner, whom I normally HATE seeing. However, Karen Buddendeck has been kind, a great listener, patient and very caring in trying to make sure that I have some quality of life while trying to figure out a way for the pain to stop totally and not need pain meds anymore (hopefully). She's an Angel.

Good Dr. But I've been through the whole injection procedure for over a year before with none to very little relief. They prescribed me medicine that I've been on for a long while which is pretty much ineffective but addictive. When I asked about possibly changing the medicine I was ignored and remained on that same medication. Due to already knowing from past injection experience that it is very minimal at most as far as relief and their lack of willingness to work with my medication I am lost.
