excellent Child, Adolescent & Adult Psychiatrist
A lot of people see psychiatrists because they have problems trusting others to help them make decisions or even worse don't have the trusted friends & relatives available. Some people see going to a psychiatrist as a form of weakness. I thought having a neutral, intelligent professional was a good decision..Asking for help can be an arduous process .........Dr. Bain,first listened to my problem ;then asked a number of questions to help clarify. He was caring & appeared interested in helping me. I felt better just sharing what I was keeping inside of me. Getting it all out was such a pleasant relief. Dr Bain then explained in terms I could understand what exactly my problem was & a course of treatment. I then asked questions especially about treatment, side effects & was satisfied with his answers.

This was the worst experience with a psychiatrist I have EVER had in my entire life. I started seeing a psychiatrist due to a family member being extremely ill when I was in HS & he was the most caring individual ever. When he retired I was devasted about having to see someone new but never anticipated having such a horrifying experience. I'm 28, relayed what medications I was RX'd for years w/out any increases, never misusing/diversion etc. & he made me feel like an addict. Never go here.

I have known Dr Bain for many years. He has been a fantastic listener, and has provided much needed support for me and my family over the years. He is a valued member of my medical team and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to my closest friends and family members.

I feel like my mom is now the worst she's ever been after switching to him. She started devolving immediately after seeing him. Not only is she NOT getting better, she is suffering more after seeing him. He charges a LOT of money for this. Do NOT recommend.

spent a long time with him. felt he was happy to take my money even if we made no progress. I spent a lot of time with him and nothing came of it. i switched therapists and learned a more in just a handful of sessions than I had with Dr. Bain over years
