Horrible follow up and office staff
My daughter has never seen Dr. Alkhatib in person. I have called and repeatedly tried to get in touch with him to let him know how horrible his office staff is about returning calls, filling, prescriptions, scheduling, and PA’s not showing up for appointments. I’m starting to wonder if the man even exists. We are currently in search of another practice. Be warned. I would never come here if you expect a good level of care and follow up.

Depression and anxiety have plagued my adult son most of his life. We are so very thankful that we found Dr. Alkhatib. He took the time needed to get to know my son, asking many questions, always encouraging, direct, thoughtful and professional. He researched the best treatments for him and reduced the many meds that he had been prescribed in the past. We recommend Dr. Alkhatib highly. He is a gifted and caring psychiatrist.

Dr. Alkhatib appears to have turned toward making money and away from providing sound care for adolescents. In farming out his decision-making and prescription writing to a team of inexperienced PA's is egregious and borderline calls for board action. The PA we met with has been working for roughly 3 months and could not answer my basic questions, but was more than willing and kept insisting on writing a prescription. There is more to share, but I have run out of room...
